Cute excavator, my Grandson enjoys it. Smaller than I expected and all plastic. For it's price point I was expecting it to be bigger and/or made of metal. (I didn't watch the video or look at the specs because my daughter sent me this on a list of items my Grandson would like for his birthday, so I just bought it on the spot) It any case, it worked really well and I liked that it came with an extra battery. The remote has many features to make this little excavator do many things, including working the arm and bucket. I don't think it would pick up anything but very light items, such as pompoms or cotton balls because it is very light itself. It is for sure an inside or patio toy, as it is not at all rugged. I would not use it in dirt and/or water, as it is not built for that.

Takes some skill to learn to operate. Doesn't have a lot of strength but will did loose sand or light items. The tracks can come off when carrying it so they could get lost. only downside is that it needs charging with a special cord fairly often.

Got this for my nephew and he absolutely loves it.

Very simple to control. Great for a first time RC user and for the little ones. Our 3 year old grandson absolutely loves it and has no problem using it. The remote is small enough for his little hands to operate and each button only does one function which keeps him from getting confused. The excavator itself is very nice and seems very durable. Moves very smoothly, goes forward & back, side to side, turns, arm extends up & down & will scoop or push dirt. Came with the excavator, remote, rechargeable battery for excavator, USB charging cable and mini screwdriver to remove & replace the excavator battery for charging. Remote control takes double AA batteries. Only thing I don't care for is that you have to remove the battery from the excavator every time you need to charge it. The is no charging port on the unit but it does make sense since you don't want to get sand, dirt or water inside a charging port. Overall this is a great RC toy for the smaller kids, 1st timers and anyone else who loves Rc's. Our grandson has had a blast running over things, digging up dirt and driving around the house chasing the dogs with it.

I picked this one because it came with two batteries, not realizing that if you switch the color from the yellow one to the blue one, that the blue one only comes with one battery. And yes, I do realize (now) that the details of the blue one says one battery, but who would have thought that different colors had different listing details...

My son wanted an escavator for christmas, so we were happy to find a remote control one. He loves it and plays with it daily.I was slightly concerned at first he would be rough with it, so far he hasnt had any issues with it.We charge the batteries weekly, as he plays with it so often.He would like to take it out in the snow...but we have held him off from that, as I dont know if water would be good on it.

The media could not be loaded. It’s not as fancy looking (details) as the others available for double the price but it has all the functions. Our kiddos are 3 and 4 and they love it. And belief me, they don’t need fancy looking at their age and they don’t care about it. The excavator can move forward and backward, move the arm, change directions and turn the console. The remote is small, perfect for kiddo hands and needs 2 AA batteries (not included). The excavator needs a battery pack (included) which is charged via a USB adapater. The bands are rubber so it can climb easy over obstacles. I attached a video. Good buy and kiddos love it.

I feel really bad because I wrote the seller stating it did not come with the extra battery and charger. My daughter later found the package in recycling bin and it still had the charging cable and the extra battery. Bottom line. Fun toy. My grandson loves it!

My 3-year-old boy loves it, what more can I say? It is a lot of fun but I have two comments.1. You will not be able to fill the bucket fully. This is because the mechanism is a cyclic nature so when it digs into the sand, it will also release it on the way up. (I wish I have time to shoot a video of it to show.)2. The batteries. It is great that it comes with 2 batteries (charged!!). Imagine the disappointment if my boy opened the present and could not play with it immediately. 2 batteries are great idea! No down time for playing! BUT it is quite annoying connecting the battery to the vehicle. Somehow, the cable on my vehicle is really short. And when connected, you have to squeeze the cable into any space in the battery compartment. The compartment can fit the battery pack only.Despite these issues, we had great fun! Fully deserve the 5-star!

Item came with only a single rechargeable battery. The pictures on this page shows that there is two batteries. I just found out that the description says it is only 1 battery. I think the pictures provided is misleading to the buyer.Please change the product pictures or provide two batteries.
