Pleasantly surprised
I was a little hesitant buying this item given the reviews but i have to say i have been pleasantly surprised by it’s overall quality. Value for money i’d say.

Bulb Didn't Work
Installed this NEW bulb five times into the projector and each time the projector (VPL-HW45ES) shutdown giving the "Bulb is at the end of it's life" code. This bulb is not an OEM Bulb.Returned for refund.

Marginally okay
I switched out this lamp to keep as an emergency spare after only 100 hours service. I replaced it with a true Phillips brand bulb that was easily installed into one of my old carriers. My complaint was lack of brightness with this knock-off bulb. Also, I had to rob some screws from an old chassis because those included with the Abitan lamp were too short. In the future I'll use this lamp while awaiting shipment of another new bulb from the non-Amazon supplier. This was my third replacement for the HW-ES40 projector. I noticed that two previous non-Phillips bulbs only achieved half the life of the original bulb.

Zero longevity of product!
I purchased this item on Dec 20, 2020 and bulb already blown out by mid-July 2021! Waste of money!!!

Too early to tell
We just installed this lamp. It fit perfectly but I can't give it a rating because we haven't had it long enough. The instructions from the owner's manual said the lamp replacement should come with a new air filter. This unit did not.

As title sayUpdate: ABITAN reached to me after this review to send me free of charge a replacement bulb for the one that burned after 265H, without me reaching out or anything else. Just for that outstanding customer service I changed my review from 3 to 5 star

The light did not seem as bright as the original OEM bulb for Sony projector
Bulb arrived on time and worked. However, when calibrating the Sony projector I noticed the brightness was lower than the OEM Sony/phillips bulb. Vendor sent a replacement but have not tested yet.
