Lots of syrup, but not overly sweet.
This is a nice, big jar of preserves. Cherries are stewed, so a bit "deflated" (not like cocktail cherries). Great taste: strong cherry flavor, and just tart enough to let you know they're sour cherries. Cherries are packed loosely in a medium syrup, so there's a lot of liquid. Good for stirring into yogurt or spooning over ice cream, but it's not a jam that you can spread on toast. For baking, you'd want to drain the cherries, and thicken the liquid with cornstarch. Should be great for pies, strudel, or cheesecake, especially if you favor less-sugary recipes.

Flavorful but not exceptional.
Item was not spoiled due to the poor packaging. Lid was dented, allowing contents to be spread about the inside of the box. Taste is flavorful but not exceptional. Much more runny than expected. I'll eat it but will not purchase again.

One of two jars was broken again. Not eligible for return. Three broken jars during three last deliveries. Terrible!!!
