I'm really glad that I took out insurance on the luggage I purchased on Amazon. Baggage handling managed to rip the upper handle off of the suitcase somewhere between Honolulu and Albuquerque leaving my almost new suitcase almost useless. Asurion handled my claim quickly and efficiently. They provided an Amazon gift card in the amount of the original price within minutes. My only issue is that I had to cover the 7.875% NM tax and take out a new Asurion policy for the replacement suitcase.

I bought a luggage set from Amazon and the 4 year protection 05/2022. Following 2 flights and 2 cruises, the largest suitcase had 1 wheel that no longer followed the other 3 and there was a 2” crack in the lower right corner. Once the claim was filed, I had the purchase price refunded to an Amazon gift card within the hour. Fantastic service.
