I added satin nickel fixtures to update my out-of-date bathrooms (the fixtures used in a new house were really out of date even when the house was built, builder must've had a warehouse full of 80's star pattern single handle shiny chrome. Ugh.) Satin is so much more stylish and looks clean and modern.So I updated the toilet roll holder, towel bar and ring. These look very updated. The towel ring is actually a rounded hook (open ended ring) and that's no problem in fact, it is easier to put on a folded hand towel, sliding it over the hook.I've always like the hook style toilet paper holder, none of that fussing with a spring-loaded roll core and you get less of the "there's one shred the size of a postage stamp left on the cardboard so I don't have to change it, do I! " nonsense. Just slide the new roll over the hook. You still can battle over the "over or under" controversy, so don't despair, there's always a source of a squabble to be had.One bad thing, my new dog LOVES toilet paper and it's quite easy to get off the hook. He developed this mania during COVID...when there was a shortage. How did he know it was the ONE thing he should not touch and therefore it was irresistible? Oddly, when the shortage eased, his interest in it also faded. Bizarre. But pets do mess with the hook so if you have a naughty one, keep the door closed or look at something more rugged.

the only reason i am not giving all the stars is the final installation step of each piece. i'll get to that - first off - these are very pretty, shiny chrome - there were no scratches they are all minimal design and just all around nice. i havent installed the robe hook yet because i have re-paint the door but everything else is up. it's all easy enough - it even comes with a guide for the length on the towel bar. i didnt use that process - i've hung enough before that i get it, keep your leveler very close by - i recommend using it on every base - you'll be happier in the long run if the base is level, everything just works better when it's right. ok - you get the base installed and now it's time to actually attach the hardware - 1) be careful when taking it out the packaging. when i took the towel ring out, the small final step screw went flying, glad i saw it happen. all of the others were fully screwed in when i took them out, so just be careful in case. 2) the final step tiny screw at the bottom of the hardware has a hex on the end vs a flat head. now, it does come with a tiny allen wrench (4 of them in fact) in order to turn it but if you are installing this on a wall an allen wrench is kind of your enemy because you can't do full turns. and it's tiny - like so thin tiny. it's so dumb to complain about it but they are just really difficult to use. this was a first. i recommend making sure you have the tiny screw in as far as you can, while being able to still install, so that you have less tightening to do. and then, of course, my last one for the night, the inside of the screw must be slightly stripped because it's not letting me turn it all the way in - i tried with all 4 included wrenches in case they are just soft, but i am having no luck. i'm going to try with a pair of tweezers - it's in there enough that it's not loose, but i know it's not done - i must finish it. all in - i love the products and the look of them - but the tiny hex is just problematic enough to dock a star.

This is an awesome towel bar set that upgraded me twenty year old previous set. The upgrade was much needed and this set has some perks I really like. The hand towel bar and toilet paper bar are both open and it makes for easier adding and removal on the bars. The robe or single hook towel bar has a T shape design that makes it easier to hang two robes and two towels on without them getting hung up on a hook design as I step out of the shower. And then the long towel bar just looks nicer than my previous one.These are easy to install and the included hardware worked out great. The only minor nuisance I had was the set screws seemed like they took a long time to tighten down and the included hex key was not the best. The hex key actually stripped out on me on one of the bars before I got it tightened and I pulled out my nice SouthWire set to finish. Just a minor complaint. I couldn't get one of the set screws to fully go in, but it's hidden on the underside of the hand towel bar. Overall, great set. Worth it to upgrade and update. They seem standard size, too because they hid all the old holes of my old ones without me having to spackle or Plaster of Paris.

Home ownership is great but it can be so frustrating to find that the previous owners did something weird or lazy. I went to replace my fixtures in my bathroom. The old fixtures swiveled at the spot where it connects to the wall. So they didn't bother to screw into the wall in a vertical line. Unfortunately this set is fixed and therefore must have vertical screws otherwise it hangs crooked. Now I have to remove the anchors, fill them in, paint the spot. Drill new holes in a slightly different spot for stability, just to use these fixtures. They are beautiful so I'm going to do all that work for it, but it was frustrating to go and install them just to find out its a much bigger project than expected. This obviously isn't the fault of the manufacturers for this set, but it does seem like something important to note if you are looking to replace your current hardware.

I'm obsessed with matte black right now and just updated our lower level bathroom to a matte black faucet and used these towel racks/rings/hooks/tp holder to finish the project. Franklin made installation super simple and included the hardware needed for installation. They really changed the look of the space and it looks so modern compared to the brushed nickel that was in there previously. Let's hope that my family can actually put full rolls of TP on now that all they have to do is LITERALLY slide it on. The old pinch and lift was apparently too confusing for the other 4 members of this household.... ;)

This set is beautiful. Exactly what I wanted. East to install and very good quality.
