Expensive radio but worth it
This is my first internet radio. It is expensive, but it's worth it. It has won an award from What Hi Fi magazine. I bought it for my office. Inside my building, the FM reception is not good. I primarily use its internet radio and find it very enjoyable. The voice is clear and music sounds clean with tight bass. I had to turn down the bass level by -4 db with loudness off to my liking. If you value sound quality in a radio format, you will enjoy this radio.

I have a love hate thing going on with this.
I love it and hate it all at the same time.Itâs beautiful, exceptionally well made, with good (better than most Iâve heard lately ) sound quality. The audio quality almost matches my old Cambridge audio cd radio alarm clock I need to replace soon and is worlds better than the Tivoli in my guest room, and my friends Bose. The DAB part is useless in the states but it has an exceptional fm radio with great internet radio and awesome sounding Bluetooth speaker function that also does Spotify. It looks like a piece of well built furniture and fits in my decor well. Itâs visually appealing and did I say well built? And thatâs where the hate it part comes in. The human interface specifically the alarm features are horrible and makes it useless for me. You have to turn it on to adjust the alarm. That doesnât sound like a big deal until you wake you significant other at 12am with crystal clear blaring music trying to set the time on the alarm for the morning. The next problem is the snooze function. It has a cool âtouch any metal partâ to snooze that I like but is only available for 1 minute. After the minute lapses, itâs on, no snooze available. That doesnât sound like much either but it slowly ramps the audio up when the alarm goes off. By the time I hear it, wake up, and get to the snooze, it wonât allow me to set it. The menu to set the alarm is a little fiddly as well. I could live with that but for the price I would expect an alarm at least comparable to a $10 Walmart clock from a third world country. So basically the alarm part is useless to me and Iâve already retired it to my workshop where it now has greasy handprints all over it and Iâm looking for a replacement for my Cambridge audio alarm again.Itâs expensive, and I now wish I hadnât bought it. Too bad they ruined an amazingly well built and great sounding radio with crappy alarm functions.

Awesome piece of audio!
Just wanted to give my 2 cents on this product. First of all it is extremely well built with superb fit and finish(ie. genuine wood and aluminum, solid controls, and a oled display). I mainly stream Spotify through it and the Spotify Connect aspect works flawlessly. As far as the sound is concerned, i feel it has it's own unique sound signature with nice clarity and sufficiently deep enough bass. It's nice that is has it's own amplifier built right in along with a subwoofer built in on the bottom of the unit. In reference to the other reviewer who made the "cotton in their ears" comment, i feel that was greatly unsubstantiated. I personally own $3,000 headphones as well as a pair of $3,000 iem's. Each of those has it's own sound signature and qualities in which i enjoy and this unit is no exception. It is a great all in one multi use product that i would highly recommend.

WARNING: DO NOT BUY!
This WAS an excellent product. However, a few days ago they totally updated their back-end software. Now you can no longer add your own stream URLs. They do not support some of the very large streaming carriers in America, such as TuneIn and Live365. I bought this to monitor my own streams, and it worked for that perfectly -- until two nights ago. Now I can't even get them to respond to a "trouble ticket" which is the ONLY way to contact them. Jumped the shark!
