Having treated myself to an Aeron after wanting one for about twenty years I decided to splash out on this headrest too. It’s solidly built and matches the chair well. I had originally wanted to get a mesh one to fully match the design of the chair but I read that they tended to grab and pull at your hair.The fabric headrest is made of soft fabric and what feels like maybe a gel layer under that. The result is a very comfortable place to rest your head. So much so that I will admit to nodding off during one of my less interesting conference calls, fortunately only briefly while muted with my camera off.It is expensive on top of an already expensive chair but my hope is that both will last me many years so I’m okay with investing a little up front now. My back feels better already.

I got the "cushion" version of this headrest, so I can't speak for the mesh version. But this thing is absolutely a game changer. I upgraded from a "gaming chair" to the Aeron, and while my back hasn't felt this good in years, I definitely missed being able to lean my head back. And this headrest is soft enough and adjustable enough that I can truly work in total comfort.I like to adjust it so it braces my neck. It really helps when I have to work with a headache. Every Aeron chair should come with a headrest like this.

Amazing service by Atlas guys, the price has the customs fees included so you don't have to deal with them (unless there is something wrong). the headrest is super comfortable and flexible and a great addition to the Aeron, I would say it is a must!
