I commute on a bike to work so my bike gets lots of use. The pads that came with my BB7 finally wore out and these looked like a good deal. First, the pads were quick to ship and arrive. Installation is pretty straight forward. I took this opportunity to clean and lube my caliper. My first impression was that the initial braking is not as strong as the OEM pad. With some use it has gotten better, but stil not as good as the OEM pad. I believe these pads are a slight harder compound and that is why they you don't get as much initial bite as the OEM pads. On the plus side, they seem to be wearing at a lower rate.Now for the not so good. First, they are noisy. I'm not sure why, maybe a weak spring, but the brakes make noise when at rest. If I pull the lever a tiny bit, not enough to slow me down, the noise goes away. Very annoying. They also sporadically squeal when you apply the brakes. What is odd is that I bought a similar set of brakes for my BB5 caliper and it does not have either of these problems.

These pads have worked great for me. I was a little concerned, given the off brand and cheap price point, so I just ordered one set to check them out. They have provided good stopping power and no discernible noise. I ride in Pisgah Forest here in NC where the conditions can be wet and grimy, and still good performance overall, especially when you consider the price point. I tried this same brand of pads on my hardtail, and they are working well with the Shimano brakes on that bike. So, I would say go ahead and buy with confidence.

Its Truckerco pads. Ive used them on every bike, these were for my "new to me" fat bike, and still the best pad Ive used for any brakes. And cheaper too. If you need replacement pads (in this case for Avid brakes, but my comment stands for their versions for other types as well) these are definitely the way to go. More power, last longer, everything better than stock avid pads.

I think they may be a little more noise than shimano genuine pads, possibly wear faster (not confirmed), and generally have not as great of modulation. All in all, they work just fine though and they are a really good deal.

I've gone about 50 miles on these pads now with no issues. As far as I can tell, they work just as well as the name brand. There were no issues with installation and the pads don't make any noise (outside of what I would consider normal). A great price point for something so critical!

thought Organic material blend pads minimize squealing and bought a pair for my mountain bike rear brake, Avid Juicy. it's been squealing even just feathering the brake lever since I installed pads six weeks ago. very annoying. my front metallic pads don't make any noise. will not recommended it to anyone.

They were too thick and dragged on the disk for a while before they wore down. Guess I got some additional exercise.

Worked perfectly as a replacement for factory pads for avid juicy 3's. Breaking power is not much different
