A Real Treat!
If you are a fan of Angela Lansbury, Murder, She Wrote or of the theater in the 20th Century, you really should read this book! Angela's brother writes with complete honesty and knowledge of this very talented family.

What an amazing, loving family.
So many fascinating stories of a family fortunate to find one incredible "opportunity" after another. I am sure there was more pain behind these wonderful careers and friendships and work situations but what highs their hard work and extraordinary talent accomplished. An amazing, loving family. The overuse of "nicknames" might overwhelm in the beginning but you will be rewarded as their lives blossom in front of you.

This is a personal story of Angela Lansbury’s family history.
This is an autobiographical account of the Lansbury family’s personal journey. It is well written and most interesting. Mr. Lansbury shares this story with honesty and love.

The true "Back Story"!
Love reading about the "back story" of people I admire, especially when written by a close family member!

A great story!
I found this memoir both fascinating and revealing. Of course I'm familiar with the great Angela Lansbury and all her classic film, tv and Broadway roles. But her siblings -- brothers Edgar Lansbury and Bruce Lansbury -- seem to have their fingerprints on half the great tv series and Broadway shows of the 60's, 70's and 80's: "Mission Impossible," "The Wild, Wild West," "Godspell," "American Buffalo," and scores more... I love reading about old Hollywood and the off-camera lives of celebrities. This book is full of personal and professional stories and offers a truly unique and satisfying historical window into Hollywood, Broadway, and the stars I grew up adoring.

Very interesting recollections of the Lansbury family.
I really enjoyed reading about the early Lansbury family in England and their move to the USA, their introduction to movies, theatre and television and their success. It is well worth reading if you are either an Angela Lansbury fan or of her familyI would point out one little error though, King George Vl didn't celebrate any Jubilee, his reign was too short, it was his father, George V who celebrated his Silver Jubilee in May, 1935, he was Queen Elizabeth ll's grandfather.
