I was looking for a space-saving, non-rigid board but needed the piece to have large squares. This is an excellent item. Built well, beautiful pebbled leather, smells great. TOP TIP: Get a hand towel and your steam iron turned up to 'high' and iron out the wrinkles with the towel over the top so that the board lays flat! Love this board.

El ajedrez tiene una muy muy buena calidad de materiales. Se nota que es cuero al tacto y al olor, además del sello en su reverso indicando que es cuero genuino. El empaquetado correcto. El tamaño es grande, es decir, a ojo podría decir que es como el de los campeonatos oficiales, pero al ser enrollable es muy fácil de transportar. Tratado con cariño es de esas cosas que se usan y duran para toda la vida. This is exactly what I was looking for. It is made of beautifully soft leather and importantly lays flat after rolling. It is far more robust than many leather boards I have seen available. If you're looking for something a bit different, or for a natural alternative to other roll-up boards available then I would definitely recommend this.As per the other review the rear is made of 4 pieces of leather which means there are seams underneath both centre lines, however this adds just ~1mm thickness along the ~5mm wide seam, which is negligible to the overall thickness and playing surface. 👍 Only bad thing a can say that if your chess pieces have felt on the bottom It grips because of the material.. A don't mind it
