Fantastic initial quality impression.
This is an initial quality impression. I will update later on when I can write up a long term review of this. These are pretty simple devices, they look to be stamped out of a sheet of just around 1/8" aluminum, and anodized. Aside from the hole, and S notches everything else on this is at a right angle, which helps the tensioner bite into your guy lines / paracord.Applications I can see are first and foremost guy lines for tents, privy shelters, instant canopies, tarp shelters and the like. Also lashing gear to packs or even lashing light cargo into a truck bed, or onto a hitch haul type carrier bypassing the need for a bunch of knots or ratchet straps.I grabbed sets of these to massively improve the guy lines and tensioners for my Coleman Sumdone 6 tent, making up guy lines out of neon green reflective paracord.Testing out I set up the tent in the yard and tensioned the lines with these. As luck would have it a cold front with a bit of a wind storm hit us as I was finishing up, so I left the tent up for 48 hours, much I am sure to the chagrin of the HOA... After considerable and sustained wind gusts over the first day, and then a nice sunny day to dry out it didn't seem that there was any line slippage at all on any of these, and none of the tensioners deformed in the slightest that I could tell by eye.I am outfitted for a full on glamping camp, nice size tent, a big screen tent for the kitchen, a nice big tarp with lots of guy lines, Coleman poles and these things, and of course a privy / shower shelter tent with these things...Do I expect the anodizing to stay good throgh years of use? Nope. I am realistic, but as new they are a beautiful addition. Blue against he neon green cord for the tent which is blue, neon green, and gray, screen tent which is blue and gray, and the tarp / patrol fly which is blue / silver. I got a pack of the gold ones to go with my old Cabelas Deluxe shower shelter as it is Green / golden tan with gold accents. These are super light for those of you interested in weight issues for backpacking, and would be a good way to shave weight off your pack if your tent / tarp rig is using steel or plastic tensioners.FWIW, I can totally eliminate these using the proper knots, but let's face it, these are MUCH faster in camp than knots, and for those with arthritic hands, this might be something that could keep you camping instead of being forced into an RV, or stopping your enjoyment of the outdoord all together. This is my initial impression, I have some long term concerns for them, being that they aren't the thickest aluminum, deflection / deforming with hard use may be a problem, but I doubt I will ever use them that hard. The most likely issue however would be the anodized finish wearing / fading off quickly. Only time will tell on these issues, and I will update if / when an issue comes up.

Quick and so easy for even a novice to use!
These work great! I bought a changing tent that had every aspect I needed (whereas others didnt) EXCEPT guy lines in windy weather. After spending a lot of time unsuccesfully searching for more changing tents with all the features I needed...I finally decided to just to do my own tie downs. Many other tensioners looked more involved...I needed something very quick and easy to use and reuse. These worked SO well. I even got compliments from my dad who has camped for decades. I also had to problem solve a tie down for one end of a bungee cord clothes line that I had to angle to the ground in a small area...it was a perfect fix and kept my bungee taut enough to hold towel, run, and jeans over the camping trip.

Perfect price and performs as stated
I paid $7.49 for a package of 10. The product is priced appropriately and performs as stated. We backpack, so we were looking for a product to add simplicity to our setups. This is my second order. However, I would not pay more for this product, as it is simple material and simple construction. The item arrived in 2 days and well packaged.

Good for paracord
The small size is perfect for the 750 lb test paracord I am using as guylines for a large canopy car port. The grip is extremely tight and secure from slipage.
