Studio Monitor Desk Clamp Pair

I normally dont buy any items with low reviews but desided to give it a try. So far these are a really nice sturdy stands. As long as everything is tight well, it can hold pretty nice. At the moment I am only using them for 5" monitors, but the top plate is big enough and solid to hold some 8" monitors with no problem. Definitely I recommend these.

Solid, does it’s job. The plates are for larger monitors than my 5”, wish there was a smaller option but it’s fine. I have it at the minimum height and it slightly higher than I’d like but the tilt makes up for it.Saw review about the tilt not holding well, I do not have that issue; maybe they set their plate off center.

They are relatively stable; I do not like the tightening method for the clamp; it does not let me get enough torque to tighten all the way. Instead, I would have had a lever, but I got it tight, and they do wobble a little bit but are stable enough. I think if the base was a little wider, it'd be a bit more stable. Also, one of the plates the speaker sits on was wobbly. I had to add some small furniture sliders to it, and that fixed the issue.

Gets the job done, but beware as the monitor base tilt is very unstable. One small nudge in the front/back will offset the tilt. Not good for mixing as you want a sturdy enough base as possible. Like the other reviews have stated, even tightening every single screw will not address the instability of the base plate.

I have been shopping around for a stand for my studio monitors purchased these expecting the worse but I am actually quite pleased. The build quality is nice and sturdy and the set up did not take long. I am enjoying the extra room on my desk. Will update if anything changes.

These arrived quickly and look awesome on my desk. I have them holding Focal Alpha 50s which are pretty heavy and do just fine.

The mounting clamp is WAYYY too flimsy to adequately hold a larger monitor. The manufacturer's spec is for monitors up to 40 lbs. No way! Additionally, my shipment was missing foam strips to keep the speakers from sliding. These would be ok for speakers under 10 lbs.

Great price for such high quality and stable speaker stands. The metal is quite thick and can accommodate small to rather large speakers.
