I have 3 of these units in the house, each in a different room. The first one is about 3 years old and working just fine. Installation is very simple and value for convenience is great. They are in strategic locations with a light plugged in on the top plug and two usb cords in the bottom. One for the apple orchard and the other for all the other items (Alexa, android or Kindle). Which ever room I find myself in and in need of a quick charging of equipment it is ready and waiting. The one in the family room is the newest and is located by my favorite sitting spot so a quick charge of something I forgot to do earlier can go on while I still use it. This has really worked out for my phone and Kindle. I did not buy the units at the same time but after each time I found a "good" spot for one more. The green light on top is a bit of a night light.

I purchased the Low Profile Surge Protector for my living room, as we had many lamps, chargers, and devices that needed plugging in. Overall, I would say it is a great buy! Good price and very easy to install.Pros:It has a green light that shows it is plugged in and surge protection is working (it is not super bright, not as bright as a night light).It has 3 outlets for cords and 2 usb charging stations for phone chargers and other usb charged devices.It has a flat front so it is more plush to the wall (it protrudes less than other models on the market).Cons:I felt like there could have been more outletsThe usb charging stations could have been on the sides for greater reach for the cords, or so the phone could rest easier on a table.

Over the years I always wondered why would anyone buy a multiple outlet for the walls that do not have the capabilities to be screwed in to the outlet. Because when you pull the plug the whole thing comes out. This EchoGear is not that because they do provide a screw and even better you do not have to remove the outlet cover, you can leave it in place. just use the provided screw and never have this plug come out of the outlet.Been using the two USB charging ports and they are fine. The outlets are also good as when plugging things in and pulling out you can feel the snugness. Plugs are not going to just fall out. The small LED at the top gives off a green light which is great for areas where you need to see in the dark, but there is no way to turn it off like if you have this in your bedroom. You will see that green glow in the room. But for hallways it is great to see an area in the darkNow as a surge protector I would say get something more commercial grade, the specs on this are not going to save whatever you plug in to them. If you have a whole house surge protector then you are covered, but to depend on just this item then just be prepared for a new electronics or whatever you have plugged in to this. I would say based on the specs this item is for light duty only. For places that are prone to lightning strikes then do not depend on this.Overall this is a good outlet and the green light is really nice to have. It is slender so it does not stick out much from the wall. I believe it sticks out an inch so really nice.I have my cell phone plugged in to charge, but I do not mind having it toast since work provides it. I typically do not leave things plugged in, but nice to have an extra outlet and two USB for charging.

I hate cords all over. This product really helped in keeping them very organized. Easy to use and the surge protector is built in.

I ordered cause it is small and has USB plugs plus 3 reg plugs.I haven't used it yet but I sure I am going to like it as it is small enough to sit on my nightstand. It also lights so works as a nightlight.

Unit was cute and worked for 4.5 years—then the USB ports stopped working. I’m glad it didn’t burn up but I don’t trust the power ports now. Sadly, into the landfill it goes. Not sure if I’ll buy this brand again.

Exactly what I was looking for! I needed just a few more spots to plug things in at my table and this fits the bill perfectly.I like that it has USB slots and that they fit tightly - the cords don't feel loose or hang at an angle. I leave my cats' water fountain plugged in all the time and the area around the port never feels hot like some do so that's great.I didn't use the screw that came, I found the peg that slots into the lower wall plug holds the unit securely. I actually really like the nightlight, I have this in the kitchen/bathroom area of my apartment and find the light is just right for letting me get to the bathroom or grab a drink without needing to turn on any lights. It would be too bright for a bedroom in my opinion though.

This product is amazing, I loved the size and sleekness of it. Unfortunately for some reason it did not fit into the outlet. I emailed Echogear and they responded almost immediately. They credited my account and help troubled shoot solutions. The issue was with my outlet and not the product. At the end, they sent me a comparable product which worked perfectly!!The customer service was absolutely amazing! I would not hesitate one minute to buy another produce from this company.The replacement product is great as it has more outlets. It’s a little bulkier than the one I originally ordered but works and fits perfectly in the outlet. I love the rotating outlets along with the two USB ports.

Great product. Only flaw is the super bright green LED light at the top that lights up my whole room at night. I had to put black electric tape over it to be able to sleep.

Works like it should. Easy to install - I just plugged it in without using the screw that was provided and it works fine. I enjoy the lighted display because the plug is in my living room but it is quite bright so that would be more an issue if the plug is in your bedroom and you are light sensitive. I'm not sure about the "fast charge" usb aspect because my fast charging wires for my phone are micro usb and my regular usb cables are not fast charging. But the plug charges devices when plugged into the usb and that's all I care about. The only down side would be the lack of a micro usb port but I knew that buying it. I would recommend it as it seems durable and is low profile.

It is a very good product. Not bulky functions well, the USB ports are a great bonus.However the led light is too bright and too big, it’s not appropriate for the bedroom it glows all night and is a huge disadvantage to the product!As an absolutely bummer when you are trying to sleep not well thought out .
