Great product, great price, easy to install, fast shipping with Amazon Prime and works perfect on my 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab. Watched a YouTube video on the replacement process while waiting on the part to arrive. Took longer to watch the video than to replace the part. You will need a T20 Torx, a small interior trim pry-bar (if needed) and a Philips screw driver. Didn’t need the pry-bar since my inner lid snapped right out without breaking anything. I compared the broken original latch with this replacement and couldn’t find any obvious visual differences. The description says the part is “made with our special formulated plastic for this application. Not brittle poly-carbonate plastic like the OEM. Hinges are slightly thicker at the joint to stop the latch from breaking”. The part fits my console correctly and the latch is snug when closed. When opening the lid, the latch is firm and slightly less flexible than the original. Easy replacement part that works perfectly!

Excellent replacement part at prices much better than the dealership. Installation took less than two minutes, and it fit perfectly. This replacement part looks much more sturdy than the remains of the factory part it replaced so hopefully it will last longer. Excellent value, well made part, if I need other replacement parts, I will definitely look for parts from these guys.

The latch was as it was described. Easy install and perfect fit.

Hopefully this one holds up. Seems to be a little flimsy. Could have been made a little beefier. Will adjust review if it holds up or breaks

I wish I knew about this product earlier, it was super easy to install on my 2012 Chevy Silverado and my grandpas 2008 Chevy Silverado, both were easy and painless installs. Takes about five minutes to remove the old part and put in the new. Secured both of our glove boxes back down and haven’t remembered what that was like in almost three years for both of us. It’s an awesome learning curve, but also makes your truck(s) seem less “trashed”, or broken when people are riding with you. Five star product, firm and durable replacement plastic. Highly recommend for its value and install time.

For a common GM problem, this thing was the perfect fix. Less expensive than the entire lid, maintains an OE fit and appearance. Cannot comment on the durability yet. Does not feel like hard, brittle plastic.

Fit perfectly. After installing I understand why they brake. Just plastic that bends to unlatch. Poor design on GM. But atleast it's cheap enough that it's not a big deal to change if it breaks again.

Discontinued through GM, fit perfect, does the job!
