They fit like they were supposed to

This vent filter from Amazinpure is smaller in size than what the seller claims and despite its description that it will fit the manufacturer model numbers stated, it is not to spec of GE part# WB06X10359. The description claims that the filter is 7.6 x 5.1 in size but it is not. Instead, it is a little shy of 7-5/8 inches in its length and exactly 5 inches in width which is not wide enough to properly catch the holding brackets on each side of the vent space on my GE profile microwave model PVM1790. You can clearly see the 1 inch gap on the right side of the vent filter in my photo and size is shorter than advertised. I would have to position the filter perfectly on center and balance it for it to not fall out from the slot which makes the filter unusable as a result. I would return the item on principal alone but for an inexpensive item like this, it’s not worth it for Amazon to issue the postage for its return. However, I did get a refund. Now, just imagine how many people have bought this item only to find that it doesn’t fit their microwave filter vent because it is not compatible based on the manufacturer’s specifications.So Buyer Beware on this seller, Amazinpure and on all sellers who are in the regular business of selling these inexpensive appliance replacement parts because more often than not, their products are not made to spec and they are intentionally claiming compatibility for manufacturer part numbers when they are not.Amazon should do more to protect its customers and hold sellers accountable for the accuracy of the descriptions they provide. Amazon should implement seller compliance rules to prevent them from allowing sellers to misrepresent and/or false advertise products based on repetitive customer complaints. There are currently too many sellers getting away with this common practice especially on inexpensive items.
