Best Choice for Big and Tall Patients
My dad became unable to walk, stand, or even sit up on his own due to a lengthy cancer battle. We couldn't afford a hoyer lift at home, so we transported him in and out of his wheelchair and in and out of vehicles on this transfer sheet. My nephew and I would each get on one side of the sheet and lift and carry him from bed to wherever he needed to be. My dad is six feet tall, and this sheet accommodated his height better than others we tried. This sheet was also compatible with the hoyer lifts at the cancer center, so the doctors were able to get him out of his wheelchair, onto the table, and back again easily. This is the second one we have purchased. The first became contaminated with chemotherapy fluid. We bleached it, but it just seemed like a better idea to get a new one. It serves our needs well, and I highly recommend it.

Work well - too many options though
It does a good job in regards to transferring from bed to bed, but the amount of handles causes alot of confusion when communicating movement/ hand placements.

easily slides on the bed
I'm 82 year old sole caregiver for my stepdaughter. She is 200lbs +. She cannot stand or walk (yet) after illness and surgery. She is on a home hospital bed with alternating air mattress. This pad allows me to reposition her easily on the bed multiple times per day. No problems after about 4 months. We protect it with an absorbent bed pad, so we have not tried washing it yet. I definitely recommend it. After seeing the other reviews, I will probably wash it on gentle and hang it up to dryUpdate: I washed it on gentle, dried on low heat - it came out fine.
