Falla del sensor.
Lleva unos 4 usos y me apareció esta leyenda. Creo que significa que el sensor no funciona. ¿Me ayudan por favor con la devolución?

A must have for today's world
Works great, a real plus to have to double check your levels after going out. Many people don't understand how out of control strict DUI laws are becoming....they are getting totally out of control in many states now....we are becoming like a police state and its quite scary in places where you don't even have to be .08 to get a DUI...it can be left to the discretion of the officer and also many states are starting to enact .05 YES .05The great thing about this device is that you can learn through the use how levels quickly change, and go down dramatically as time passes. That way you can understand your personal tolerance and metabolic rates, so that you can be sure that when you leave, you are well below .08 after a nice evening out. Getting to be a necessity to combat the zealots who don't know when to stop and have a little balance in life, and when you start talking .05 you are definitely in the area of ridiculousness.Don't know what others are talking about as being bulky, it fits nicely into the carry case and is quite compact. It fits very nicely into the corner of your glove compartment. Startup time is reasonable, results accurate. Like many have said don't use it right after alcohol consumption. Have some water wait a few minutes then use it.

Seems to work great
I purchased this as both a test for those nights after extended dinners to better understand if driving is a good idea or not and as a novelty purchase. It seems to be pretty accurate. The key is definitely time between your last drink and blowing. Blow right after a drink and you're going to be way high (which is probably better than reading low). How it compares to a legit cops breathalyzer, not sure; but it does give a good enough read in my book. What has been very interesting is to see what you blow after a hard night of drinks. I was amazed to see how close to not legal I've been even after a good 8 hours sleep. As for novelty, everyone loves it! I'd purchase it again. Use and play with it but please do so safely.

know what the police know
The AlcoMate Prestige is the best product for the money. Cheaper units require recalibration. More expensive units are not necessary for individual use.All drinkers should have a method for measuring of their blood-alcohol levels. The AlcoMate Prestige is easy to use, small enough to travel in a purse or glove box, and accurate. You wouldn't want to drive a car without a speedometer. Sure, you might be able to reasonably guess your speed, based on other cars on the road and other factors. The police will measure your speed using a digital meter. So of course, you expect to equip your car with a similar device to know if you are legal or if you are breaking the law.The ramifications of driving while under the influence of alcohol are far greater than the ramifications of speeding. If you drink alcohol and drive, don't go without this important gauge.

Don't risk a DUI!
Without going into the unfortunate details let's just say I was able to compare the readings on the Alcomate with a device that was certified for legal purposes and it was INACCURATE by up to 50%!!(At least it tended to be off on the high side i.e. exaggerating your BAC but are you going to trust your legal liability to something that inaccurate?) I would love to hear a response from the manufacturer and any independent testing of this device. Is there ANY warranty of accuracy for this device? I think not,- and if there is- mine is defective and needs to be replaced. Don't even think of risking your legal liability by relying on this until this is clarified. Several other reviewers have corroborated its inaccuracy. If there's an objective side-by-side comparison to a legally recognizedbreathalyzer let's see it. Otherwise it's just an over-priced toy.
