I have struggled with cleaning my glass cooktop from the day I purchased this stove. This is my second glass cooktop stove; the first one cleaned up like a dream. I loved it so much, I convinced my mom to buy one. Hers was also a breeze to clean. Not so for the thing that currently resides in my kitchen! I believe that Satan lives just below the surface of my cooktop and that his body gives off an oily residue that settles on top. If you glance at my cooktop, it will smear. To clean it is like entering the final circle of hell.I am not a messy person; there are not weeks of baked on food. I clean the beast after every use. I have been using the cleaning product that came with my stove and then one of those white chalky liquids designed for cooktops. That cleans off splatters, but leaves a very cloudy film. I have had the most success with a cloth dampened in very hot water and a drop of dish soap. I follow that with a second clean hot damp cloth and dry it with a third clean cloth. I may have to perform that whole ritual twice. Swearing is involved.Enter Weiman-my hero! It cleans, polishes, and does not leave a streaky smeary mess. Moisten the dual sided pad, apply a little product in a circular motion to the cooktop (no hard scrubbing required), wipe it off, and dry with a clean cloth. This takes less time and is less irritating than other methods I have tried. Weiman has even gotten rid of some hazy areas that have plagued me for months.I think this product is a good value, as it takes very little of the paste to clean up a normal mess. At first I used too much, with leaves behind little white grains on the stovetop. I noticed that some reviewers complained about the smell. To me, it smells like a basic cleaning product. It doesn’t smell nice, but it doesn’t smell harsh either. Frankly, this product could smell like sewage and I would probably use it without complaint. Thanks to Weiman, Satan be gone!

When I moved from Denver back home to OC, I had to clean my apt stove, it was gross, I used ajax, razor blades, scrubbers, dawn, etc. And I thought they were going to ding me for it, it still looked like crap. At home my mom has the same oven top, I cook like a maniac, so its dirty, stained, I'm like crap we gotta buy a top, then I see this stuff, tried it, wow, it actually works, the issue is you almost have to do it in steps, I spent 30 min and got tired and realized I have another 30min+ to make it perfect, I mean like factory clean. That was the shocker of this stuff, I remember 15 years ago they sold like some stupid wipe on, wipe off, and you had to baby it, but now you got like glass finishing sandy mixture that turns it new.
