Press and hold "SET" for 3s, press "SET" several times until the lock icon flashes, press up or down key to set the hour, press "SET" again to set minute. Press and hold "SET" for 3s to save the settings.

I have a 80w deep heat bulb in but temp range only goes to 32 degrees why is that?

I assume you are saying the temperature achieved is only 32° , I had similar problem. First is the sensor close to the area the spot of the bulb is heating, if so ,as in my case your bulb is underpowered for the application and needs to be upgraded to a higher wattage. If the bulb is dimming at 32° then you either have it set wrong or it is faulty If I have assumed wrong or misread the question please disregard this answer. for some reason the second plug makes my uvb flicker a lot and the first plug what's for heating allows the basking temp to go 5° more than it should?

The flicking could be to do with the heat lamp stealing all the energy so the uvb could be getting less energy than it should. I had this problem before so now I have one light on one extension and another for the other. The temp rise is normal and will lower it's self automatically. Same with if it goes 5 degrees lower it will then heat itself back up. It took me a while to work it all out but now it does everything itself. I never have to touch it, it's amazing 😊
