MomoiDiamond Braid Generation III 8X 3000yds

I love this stuff I tried all types of braid and was frustrated by wind knots and poor performance I heard about this at ICast and thought I would try it out . I had switched back to mono at this point thinking I hated braid. I received the spool in the mail and thought ugh feels like the other stuff but I’ll give braid my last try. I took it out after spooling my reel and immediately had a smile on my face this stuff outcasted anything I had before. I also was impressed as I use my rod and reel to surf cast as well as fish the flats and no wind knots. I guess it’s the 8x roundness who knows too scientific for me but all I needed to know was did it perform. Been using it about 2 years now and catch big redfish, trout, and kings with no problem at all I tie 50 and 60 pound floro as a leader directly to the braid and it holds like it was meant for each other. I can’t say enough about this product. The only con I have is now they have a 9x version but it doesn’t come in hi vis orange but when it does I’m in. 8x is awesome but 9x well you know with one x more the party still roars!

Perfect line to back a big tuna reel. Lays well, very tough and durable and reasonably priced

What’s not to like about this braid? Strong, ties great and is durable. I used this religiously deep dropping with 8-12lbs of lead. Great stuff!

Best fishing line by far, I have been a guide for 16 years now and this is by far the best line ever.No memory and very tough , I use 20lb and love it

I tested this braid at 70 lbs break with triple surgeons knots and 76 bimini. It also held up when lifting a 30 lb ketelbell up and down repeatedly unless jerked very hard, making the force exceed 76 lbs. Remember, a 100 lb tarpon or grouper takes about 10 lbs of force to deadlift in the water.......and I set my drags to be around 12 lbs. It is very hard for humans to hold anything past 15 or 20 lbs of drag. You are fighting the force of the fish swimming, not it's weight.I use this on my 10,000 and 14,000 size reels as well as my JX series Avet for red snapper, grouper, yellowfin tuna etc.The spools are consistently overfilled from what they say as well. My 600 yard spool had about 740 yards spooled onto it. I used to use Powerpro and still do on my smaller reels, but this is now my go to for bulk spooling as I see no difference in material or performance.

First time I used this braid normally I use power pro. I'm using 20lb braid on my VS100XP arwdnd it seems thinner than power pro and cast farther. It seems to have less memory than power pro.I would recommend this braid!!
