Surprisingly Good Mini Multi-Arcade
As a longtime MAME enthusiast and custom arcade cabinet modder and builder, I was pleasantly surprised with the My Arcade Data East Hits Micro Player with 308 games. The games are all playable, it has a usb-c port for power without batteries, using four AA batteries lasts a LONG time, it has volume buttons and a headphone jack. It's also tough. We got this three years ago for our at the time four-year-old and it's withstood dropping and rough use (he did peel off the marquee sticker at some point). The packaging is very nice and if you are purchasing as a collectable and want to keep it NIB, it will look nice on your shelf with rest of your sadly non-played My Arcade units. The game selection isn't an all-star lineup of arcade greats, with a lot of weird titles mixed in, but it was interesting to play games I've never seen and my kids didn't care if they were big in the 80's or not.Pro-tip: To power on the arcade, PUSH IN the little fake coin insert box below the control panel. You may want to also apply a tiny bit of Loctite to the joystick screw or just take it off...or superglue it in, if you really want it to stay. Due to size, I found some of the games more playable without the joystick and just using the D-Pad, but YMMV.At $30, it's well worth the price for potentially thousands of hours of gameplay for gamers young and old.

Really cool little gift idea
This is one of the coolest mini arcades I've seen. I wish more of these were made where they go the extra step to make the game a little more authentic to the original experience. The mirror effect is simple, but still looks cool and Space Invaders is one of those games that's really easy to kick on and play whenever you want so having it sit next to you on your desk is nice

Fun to play - needs 3 AAA
Apple TV Remote added for size comparison.Recently purchased the My Arcade Micro Player Mini Arcade Machine featuring the classic Pac-Man game for my 4-year-old son, and it has quickly become a favorite in our household. The 6-inch color screen is vibrant and clear, making the game enjoyable to play. The controls are decent, though I did notice that the joystick/d-pad can feel a bit "sticky" at times. (Joystick can be unscrewed, picture is joystick removed. kiddo prefers the d-pad.) Despite this, the game is still fun to play, and my son absolutely loves it.Overall, the My Arcade Micro Player Mini Arcade Machine is a great purchase for young kids who enjoy classic arcade games. It's portable, easy to use, and provides hours of entertainment. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and nostalgic gaming experience for their child.

Fantastic bang for your buck Space Invaders original arcade experience!
As an old school arcade game player, I really appreciate and am grateful for all the hard work the My Arcade team put into this premium edition of their Space Invaders handheld! It duplicates the original Space Invaders experience so very well. Even the semi-reflective space background effect is well replicated here. They also use the original arcade ROM so the play experience is spot on. While the speaker is a little soft, that does not detract from a fantastic experience. This is highly recommended for its build and design quality, original arcade playability, and overall attention to detail. I really hope My Arcade will continue to produce more premium units as they are really great. Sure, the cabinet design is not exactly perfect. You can look into the Numskull's premium effort...and pay 5 times the price for it. But, this is such a great value for what you pay for. Again, highly recommended!

So adorable and gets the Burger Time craving satisfied!
I really love it! The classic shape and how accurate the game is. And I really don't mind the small screen, I think it works just fine. I appreciate the little rubber bumpers on the bottom to keep it from moving around on a flat surface. The sound is clear and can be turned down or put headphones in. I plan to get an actual game console in bigger form down the line but for now this reasonably priced game is working great for me until then.

Data East games are not the arcade ROMS
I should have looked at the reviews a little closer. The other games are mostly not worth it. But I knew that. What I didn't know is the main Data East games are not the arcade versions. From what I can tell, they are the Nintendo home system versions of the games. It's a small unit and not that expensive, so I am deciding to keep it. But I would probably purchase the larger version that has the actual Arcade ROMS. I might still buy that version and may eventually give this away as a gift.

Should have bought this WAY sooner!
I wish I hadn’t put this one off for so long. I have been collecting MyArcade micro players for years and this one was in my list for a while now but after getting it and playing it, a game I NEVER played in an arcade or growing up, that I am actually pretty good at it and have grown to love playing this more than others.Very well constructed and the design is classic like the original, with an illuminated background with a two way mirror in front for the rear facing screen to project off. It’s visually stunning for such an early arcade machine. This little thing is by far the best and most accurate MyArcade player to date. This actually has me wanting to give the real thing a shot the next time I go to my local arcade. Simply put it’s simply fun.*If you’re wondering, YES this game is programmed like the og with a possible 300 pts shot on the first UFO of every level if hit on the 23rd shot from start of level, then every following 15th shot in that same level. You can rack up some quick points if you get good at that.
