Is this the softer type rubber or a hard plastic? And does it make a loud noise when dropped?

This is THE best lasting dog toy for our aggressive chewer..not furniture or anything, just hard on toys..we keep one in the bedroom so she can chew it before sleep while she watches an episode of Luckydog..soft rubber that makes a cool squeaking sound when she chews it..

Is it durable enough for aggressive chewers?

I think so, we gave it to our mastiff puppy, not an aggressive chewer but very strong chewer and it is undamaged months later.
