IGLOO BMX 25 Quart Cooler with Cool Riser Technology

Hummed and hahd for ages trying to sort out choosing a cool box for camping, given the choice available (powered or passive) and difference in costs, and finally settled on this one. So pleased I did! On opening the package after delivery, the inside was freezing after just been in transit, and could feel the cold when putting my hand inside the box.Very robust construction, perfect size for 2 to take away and store food/wine/beer, and keeps stuff cold for ages, and I mean for days, if you cool the box ahead of packing it with fresh ice blocks or bags of ice. I used small 500 ml bottles of frozen water, which not only keep frozen for at least 2 to 3 days inside the cool box and act as your ice packs, but had lovely chilled bottles of water for best part of the week. As suggested by others, I put some thin self adhesive foam draught excluder into the recess for the lid, which seals it even tighter.Bit pricier than a lot of other cool boxes, but this really works great, and so chuffed I spent the bit extra on this one, well worth the outlay. If you’re looking for a cool box, and can’t decide, you really won’t go wrong choosing this one.

This is the daddy of coolers! I done a lot of research into coolers as I've purchased a tent and intended on weekend camping and this cooler came out on top for the price. Its extremely thick walls insure everything stays cool I side. I've only used once on a trip to the beach and everything stayed cool and the 2 liters frozen water bottle was still frozen at the end of the day. Its super rugged and not to heavy. Just buy it you won't be disappointed. Please note, All coolers should be filled with ice for 24 hours before use if you want them to work correctly.

Superb bit of kit, used solely for tent based camping trips, extremely rugged looking and practical design, the rubberised latches are excellent for holding down the lid, nice colour scheme, and more importantly its ability to keep food and drink cold, I used this for 3 days and nights and only prefilled using ice cubes without cooling it down beforehand, I would say 65% of the ice was still there are after 3 days and nights. Top-notch product glad I bought this particular cooler, and would highly recommend.

Excellent cooler, should be easier to buy in the UK. Left it in the boot of my estate car in 30deg. heat for 6 hours during cricket match. Bottles of water still cold and ice still solid. Cheaper cooler it was replacing was next to it with like warm coke and no ice. Solid construction, use it as a seat sometimes! Shame I couldn’t buy the bigger one here, but enough for 20ish bottles of beer, or 6 bottles of wine which stand upright. A good investment and not too expensive.

Nice solid cooler, and looks the part. However, My ice didn’t last for more than half a day, so don’t believe the hype.Still, I think it’s the best cooler in its price range.Also, before buying check the manufactures website! ;)

Worth the investment. Do not buy cheap cool boxes. This kept food and drink cool for 3 days, 2 nights just with a few small ice packa

At the moment I’ve not used it but my friend has the same one and says it will keep your food cold for 3 days but if you top the ice up it will for longer

Absolute rubbish. Brought this for a camping trip and loaded with Ice and cool boxes. 3 hours later ice had turn to mush and leaked all over the boot of my car! Avoid and buy a Yeti!!!
