U.S. Art SupplyBlack Nylon Art Supplies Portfolio Carry Backpack Bag, Size: 19" x 26"

The similar one I got overseas more than 10 years ago is coming to its end, so I am happy I found this one. It is solid and with multiple pockets outside, very useful for my Plein air painting paper, board, sketchbook, etc. The largest vertical pocket on the outside layer can also put in the easel or a rain jacket.Two things I am not sure about: the zipper looks huge but the "tooth" seems way too big and loose for the size of the portfolio, not sure how long it will last. The second is that the portfolio came with a very strong chemical odor that smells terribly, I have to put it outside of my studio for a few days before I can even use it. Be aware.

I just received this item, durability is yet to be determined, it does however have plenty of storage and is not so big as to be hard to get around with. Build quality seems good but only time and use will tell..

It looks nice, feels a little cheap, has a slight plastic odor and the zippers are gaudy. PLEASE NOTE: This product claims to be able to fit a 18x24 drawing pad in the largest compartment, and I would like all of you to know that it does but it is reaaaaally close. I have a XL Mix Media Pad, 18"X24" with Side Wire and the only reason it is fitting inside this portfolio is because of the oversize zippers. I can already tell that the corners of my drawing pad will be damaged by the rounded and tight corners on this portfolio - however it does work...If you are looking to get a portfolio that will properly fit a 18 x 24 drawing pad, I would recommend getting something that is a size up. I have ordered a few portfolios like this one that claim to have enough room and they almost NEVER do.

I bought this to house the Anki Overdrive track pieces and cars. It is perfect to put all that stuff in one carrying case that is set up like a backpack. Track pices fit well in main compartment, cars, trucks and elevation risers all fit in front pockets nicely. I have all 9 vehicles and every track piece in this thing. The only thing that won't fit is the intersection (demolition derby) cross piece. Everything else fits like it was made for it.And when my 6 yr old becomes an artist, he will have a great portfolio pack to use. Very nice. Buy!!

I get compliments on this bag all the time. People should have invented the backpack portfolio bag sooner! I love the huge zippers and how I have lots of different sized pockets. I use the giant one to hold my ruler, though I do wish it had a zipper also instead of just a clip. The placement of the zippers is weird, too, considering how you expect people to carry the bag. If you are using the side handles, the zippers face down, meaning if you had any of the zippers a little open accidentally, stuff would fall out. And unfortunately, one of the zippers have broken off within 3 months of use but I would personally still buy this bag again because of how cheap it was. The straps show no indication of breaking or snapping so I'm good.

Great design, it could fit everything I needed for my art classes, and then some! However, towards the end of the semester the stitching holding the straps on the bag started falling apart. One completely detached as I was walking home from class. The other one was mostly fine. Definitely needs stronger stitching, art supplies are heavier than youd think! But when it worked it was great! many people asked me where they could get one and were surprised at how cheap it was! I definitely recommend it. At this price you could just sew the straps back on with tougher thread or buy a new one if you dont want to mess with it.

I use this item at home to hold an electronics project, and move it occasionally from the desk to another place when I need to do paperwork. I know this item is actually meant to hold paper products. For that purpose you'll need to add a stiffening cardboard or plastic sheet, etc., for yourself. For everyday use, I think the enormous catchy zipper will annoy you too much. I used the trick to rub the side of a candle along all the edges of the zipper, and that helped a lot, but still not enough to recommend for more than once a week use, if even that frequently.

Love love love this portfolio!! I have to walk across campus with heavy sketch pads everyday and having a portfolio with backpack straps rather than handles has saved my shoulders. There are so many pockets which are great to fit all of my art supplies. The long pocket on the side perfectly fits my long ruler, water bottle, AND a container of mod podge. Fairly sturdy construction as well! Would definitely Recommend!

the size of the bag is nice but what good is it if the main zipper is broken. very disappointed.
