love this brand for high quality cords and cables. this one is VERY thick and feels solid. it might be a bit *too* thick, but i'd rather have that than a cable that bends and twists itself to death. works great for PCVR and any other sort of USBC -> PC needs. this one is specifically better than the kiwi one because i can use it for my phone, too- the tiny bit of extra length at the actual plug lets it clear the bottom of my phone case, which the kiwi cable did not.

Using 5m cable for an Elgato Teleprompter - works great. This cable allows me to place my Elgato Prompter far enough from my PC to be useful. This is not the least expensive USB-C 5m cable. This is for those applications that require a lot of data to pass through that long cable. The Elgato Prompter uses just one cable for power and data to the prompter monitor. Many different reviews state to only use the included Elgato USB-C cable. If you just need power, this may not be the best cable - plenty of cheaper options that will just deliver amps (Don't expect anything other than power). If you need a full functioning, high speed USB cable to push power and data - this is a good option.

Good bandwidth, just as advertised, but it is NOT a replacement to the OEM Meta cable, found here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081SHD773. This cable passes the bandwidth/noise/speed test with flying colors, reaching an impressive nearly ~3.0Gbs. It's also a good cable mechanically, with an excellent cable jacket that will last a long time. The end plugs are also well constructed. Where it falls short is charging Quest headsets. It seems to lack the required chips in the cable that tells the headset to charge as full rate. Plugging your headset to your PC will show "slow charging". This unlike the Meta fiber-optic cable in the link above that allows your headset full, fast charging from your PC. Lack of sufficient charging speed also means that PCVR use, the mode this cable was made for, will be limited in time vs the original cable. With the Meta cable, I would estimate you can run PCVR mode nearly indefinitely if you take normal rest/food breaks. With this cable, the battery will drain nearly as quickly as unplugged as charging current is just a trickle.

Quality product at a reasonable price.

Damn sturdy cord. It is thick and covered in rubber. I have never seen anything as good as this. However,... I'm not sure if it is my device or the cord. Some cords work fine with my Google Pixel C tablet. Other cords cause my tablet's touch screen to not work right. Contents will display but it does not allow touch. Most cords don't work right. Including this one. This is a well known problem with the Pixel C. So I have to unplug it if I'm using the Pixel C. I understand the specifications on the cords have changed. According to many google channels most USB cords don't have the up-to-date wiring specs. Maybe this cord is not up to the spec? I just don't know how to test...

I have been using this for over a year and half now. As all cables do, it is starting to twist up and get tangled. But I’m terms of actually using it, it’s great. No fraying, cuts, melting, and the tip is still in good shape. It still supplies enough power to my Quest 2 VR headset and data transfer so I can use it with my computer. Even after all the beating it’s taken. My cable goes through a lot more stress than what most people would do it as well. Will be buying this one again when the time comes.

Perfect for meta vr or any uses of usb c needs haven’t had any issues with this in over a couple years! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another should the need arise again!
