This is the continuing story of Devlin (Alex) & Ellie. Devlin owns a foundation which victims of trafficking amongst other things. Ellie is a reporter for a magazine. With secrets revealed, are there more she doesn’t know about? Will she find out anything else? She is doing a story on her uncle who was killed. She knows her uncle was into illegal dealings. This part of Devlin and Ellie’s story is full of suspense, mystery, anticipation, indecision and very steamy and a lot of love. Their love will be tested as a result of more revealing secrets. Will they survive it all? Always a well written book by J. Kenner. I love her books. I can’t wait to find out what happens in the conclusion of Devlin and Ellie’s story.

I really liked this book but there was a lot of repetition and descriptions so the book did not need to be a trilogy. However I loved how to loved each other .

Series not as strong as Stark but that's really hard to beat. Still enjoyable characters

Wow...just when I thought Ellie and Devlin would get their HEA.....just when I thought I had figured it all out...yep, JK pulled the rug right out from under me!!! The twists and turns were riveting.... but what will the newest revelation due to Devlin and Ellie? I don’t know, but I’m diving right into My Cruel Salvation.

I really liked this book. The action started to pick up about half way and became a real page turner during the last third of the book. It was a great continuation of the Devlin Saint series.

Devlin and Ellie are fire! This story just keeps getting better! Hot and sexy with sweet beautiful moments, add in a mystery, then you have a fabulous story!

Oh wow!!!! What a continuation to this fantastic series .......... With Ellie now by Devlin/ Alex’s side and in his bed 😉😍 things really start to get complicated although she knows some of this man’s secrets there are so many more to uncover . El has decided to stay and do a story on her Uncle Peters life and his illegal dealings which The Wolf . In reality what she does is expose a hornets nest of lies and deceptions and is shocked at what she finds . El even finds out that her mother’s death was no accident which was a real body blow . Devlin keen to keep his El safe now and although Brandy knows Devlin’s true identity decides to include her best friend Lamar ,who as we know is also a detective, in on what Brandy knows .Trouble is brewing though when someone is not keen for El to be with Devlin and she’s sent a series of text messages warning her that Devlin is a dangerous man that has many secrets and she must leave him. .As we all know secrets never stay secret for long before they surface but in the end El starts to work things out on her own it forces Devlin to confess what his organisation is really about something that El, finds hard to accept . After two attempts on Eli’s life which eventually leads to a very dramatic conclusion . Sadly the events lead Devlin to discovers something that changes everything that results in exposing who he is and once was😱😱😱😱 what will happen next can he have a HEA with his El ?? I do hope so ........ I’m really and counting down the days until the next book 😍😍.... can’t wait 😉.

The second book in this series certainly doesn’t falter from the suspense, drama, depth of plot that the first book had. We join the story exactly where we left off. The journey that Devlin and Elle make is treacherous, deliciously romantic, and terrifyingly intriguing. There is no possible way that the reader can second guess what is truly coming, as there are so many red herrings thrown in there. The suspense lasts all the way through the book and continues right to the bitter sweet ending. We’re we are left with more questions than really true answers. The only answer that is totally apparent, is that Devlin will protect Elle what and who ever the cost. Some people do not appear to be what they seem, others remain loyal, and some are playing a very deceitful game. The story is so well written. The characters so unique and full of every emotion required to make a spell binding novel. The description of places and events so vivid you can almost smell the ozone, dirt, sweat and acrid blood. A truly absorbing series, definitely for me the best this author has written. Most definitely not a standalone but an excellent, exceptional, enthralling novel.

Just finished reading this series couldn’t put them down. J Kenner you’ve done it again ,incredible story. Loved every line , It had my heart in my mouth, pulse racing and hot all over. Fantastic story that gripped me from the moment I started reading it. Thank you for your incredible writing which keeps me gripped. Well worth buying if you enjoyed the stark series.
