Works well for Aluphone bells with minor modification
I have a standard 17 bell set of Aluphone bells and purchased two extra bells for it, one low and one high, to extend the range a little. I purchased two of these Gibraltar SC-CMBAC arms to support the new bells and they work well for me (just barely) as I wanted the additions to be compact as possible but for someone who would want to extra bells in the "proper keyboard positions" the next longer length arms should be purchased at least. The only modification I needed to do was to remove the felt and plastic washers and instead use two thin flat rubber washers, put two layers of heat shrink tubing around the shaft, and used a rubber grommet on the top.

These are great, cuts down on extra stands to set up.
These are great, added 4 of these instead of full stands. Very versatile, plenty of adjustment for the perfect fit and cuts down on the space needed for the kit.

Works well for my Alesis DM10X
I have an Alesis DM10 X electronic drum kit that needed some modification. I like having my ride cymbal at a further distance than what the stock hardware was allowing. So I needed an extended boom to suite mu needs. I ordered this boom arm with that in mind. The hardware is about what you would expect from Gibraltar with a nice solid feel and heft to it. Definitely more solid than the stock hardware you get with the electronic kits. So the hardware quality is top notch, but there are two limitations:- The size of the Gibraltar boom stand is slightly larger than what the drum rack can accept. So I just took the boom arm off and added it to the electronic set's arm stand. With some loosening it fits perfectly fine. So I have a stand base that I can't use, but that's a small price to pay. For any of you looking to modify your set like me look for the Gibraltar Boom Arm for Drum Racks. It may be a better fit.- The length of the boom arm isn't quite as long as I wanted. Now this one is on me. If there is a longer boom out there I recommend double checking on that if you are like me.

Holds my Meinl stack.
It's Super rugged. This will end up being a hand me down to my brood. This is a Great option if you don't want to add a foot print to the kit but need some splash or stacker near the kit. Although, I'm fairly certain this would hold you up if you also wanted to do pull ups. It's very sturdy.

Cheaper than Guitar Center for the same exact item.
Works exactly as it's supposed to and my fiance is thrilled to be able to add on to his drum kit.. Now he can throw in a little extra when he's performing or writing the rest of the Album for Pandora and Her Box, the local Florida band he's in. If you get a chance, check them out on Facebook or YouTube! #PaHBox #PandoraAndHerBox 🤘🏼

Excellent Cymbal Booms
These things are fantabulous!!!I mean I bang the smack out of these little suckers and go boom boom bang bang all night long making all sorts of groovy gravy train beats while we ride a disco spaceship on a journey through a galaxy of funk on our quest to find la la land. They have yet to fail me, and have helped us avoid many dark black holes of pointless noodling, and helped maintain a direct path towards jamtastic awesomeness. They fit my kit gooder than anticipated. Thanks.

this is a great cymbal boom arm!
I use this standard Boom arm to mount a 16" crash cymbal on a Gibralter rack. It's very sturdy and does not vibrate or rattle.I use the Gibralter shorty boom arm to mount a 20" ride cymbal with equally good results.I've used this standard boom arm for only a few weeks, but have used similar Gibralter boom arm for years with out fail.I've been using Gibralter hardware for 12 years and have not had any problems.I would recommend this boom arm to any drummer that needs a sturdy boom arm at a reasonable price.
