This moisture meter is exactly what i hoped for. I has 4 different test modes for different items. So when I am prepping my material for pelletizing I can test it then when I am actually ready to run it I use it to test additionally to see that my moisture is just right.Once I have actually pelletized my material I test my completed pellets to make sure they are dry enough for both burning and storage.I would highly recommend if you want accuracy and versatility to purchase this meter.It's expensive but worth every penny. Well made and easy to use.

Unit works very well for field samples. Very easy to use. Did not work with chemicals added to the material.

A very simple and easy to use moisture tester for sawdust and wood pellets. Works best on "green" sawdust. For wood fuel pellets, it will read correct moisture, but most accurate if pellets are 1/2" or less in length. For dry sawdust, you will need to use gram measure and oven dry comparison to calibrate. Calibration is easy to do, but should be done. Instructions are in proper English grammar, and not translated from someone speaking English as a third language. In fact, I think it may indeed be manufactured in the USA.
