I hate buying things with a limited lifespan (read: fireplace lighters) and so when I saw rechargeable lighter for sale, I couldn't resist. It's less of a traditional lighter and more of a miniature cattle prod, but it does work. Lighting candle wicks takes a steady hand and accurate placement, but after a try or two you'll figure it out. The cover that slides over the button will keep you from accidentally starting it, but wouldn't prevent an unattended toddler from figuring it out. I was able to light two napkins and burn a French Fry before my wife took it away from me.I can't say how long it lasts on a charge because it arrived fully charged, I've lit 30 candles plus those napkins and French Fries, and the charging light hasn't gone down at all.

I love this thing. It's so easy to use and I never have to worry about running out of butane. The only very minuscule issue is that it makes a high pitched sound that I'm too old and deaf to hear but my kids say it hurts their ears. Not really a deal breaker though since it's only on for a couple seconds at a time anyway.

It works great. The only thing it doesn't work well is for my wolford oil lamps because the wick is level with the top so it doesn't work well for that but typical oil lamps or candles it works perfectly and seeing how it's rechargeable there's not worrying about running out of fuel.

Came fully charged! Works like a charm. Doesn’t heat up so it’s safe to use. I light candles nightly and this battery lasts about a week of daily use. That’s pretty good. Comes with USB charger cord (no outlet). Recommend!

Bought to light candles but found it invaluable during the winter storm power outage. This thing lasts forever on a simple charge and is the easiest tool to use. I highly recommend and plan on buying more.

As soon as I received my candle burner I opened it and used it to burn my candle. It was so easy to use and the battery was full when it came out the packet . This thing is my new favorite Amazon gadget

Works great. Simple and easy. The plug is Micro USB, NOT USB-C. Comes with a short cable. You can plug it into a computer or a cellphone charger.

I have used others before but this rechargeable lighter is great and would recommend it.
