North American Rescue 30-0023 C-A-T Combat Application Tourniquet, Rescue Orange

It's real. Was sceptical after the reviews claiming a fake. But if you look at the paperwork included in the shrink wrapped tourniquet, as in my included pics, you can see its North American Rescue. It seems to be the same size as the rhino brand. And I'm not sure of quality difference, and honestly hope I never need to. We have several around different locations, and some have an aluminum windlass. I like that over the plastic one here. But every instructor has always preached to get this one. I got this for work, on a body armor vest molle system (got a pouch too, here on Amazon). I do plan on replacing the various others in the cars, bug out gear, and main first aid kit with these. But at this price, it will be a piece by piece purge, over time. Would recommend, as long as you have training in its application.

arrived on time and undamaged. we purchased this for our prepper go packs so haven't had to use it in an emergency thank goodness. but we do practice with it. it is easy to use, and seems of very good quality.

Legit NAR tourniquet. Has NSN and everything. Orange really pops. Similar to a highlighter orange.

I was weary about this being an actual NAR CAT 7 because of the other reviews. So I ordered this one and another in a Scherber IFAK. Scherber uses only NAR equipment. If this one was not identical to the other, I was planning on returning. But as far as I can tell, this is a legit NAR tourniquet. I will be keeping it. I’m satisfied with my purchase.
