THIS FIXED MY 2014 NISSAN ALTIMA 2.5 SL A/C PROBLEM
I have a 2014 Nissan Altima, 2.5 SL at 83k miles. One hot summer humid day in July, my A/C started blowing lukewarm air and the temperature failed to cool down even on the lowest temp setting at 60 degrees. On the coldest setting, it was blowing maybe "cool" air, but it wasn't cold enough to bring down the inside temperature when it was scorching hot outside. It was made far more obvious when the outside temperature reached 90 degrees and above with no cloud cover. I took it to a local small business car repair shop. They indeed noted that it was the control valve that needed to be replaced, along with my low freon level. They also noted my pressures for low side were high and high side were low. I ordered this part and took it to the shop. Once they swapped out the valve, my a/c immediately started to blow COLD ICY air on the lowest temperature setting, like a brand new car. Some shops might try to tell you it's the whole compressor that needs to be replaced (which would be something like $1500). If you have less than 150k miles on your Nissan Altima, I'd be skeptical of that.Bottom line: if you have a similar problem like me, just order this part. It will fix your a/c problem.

Works great
The AC in my Nissan Altima was cold up until the outside temperature was 90 degrees. Once the outside temp hit 90, it would blow warm air. After looking up what it could be on Google, I came across this piece. I saw a review that said their car did the same thing. We replaced the piece and now it is ice cold! Thanks so much!

Perfect Fit
This is exactly what you need if you’re experiencing AC problems. Got my refrigerant recovered, swapped the old part with the new one, and now my AC is colder than I could ever remember it being! Don’t let mechanics try to tell you that you need a new compressor because this is the fix to your problem!!!
