Didn't Hold Up
I love theses boots. They fit perfect, are easy to get on and off, comfortable, nice oiled uppers. What the heck? Right? Unfortunately not so. They came apart within just a few months on the tops where the rubber meets the leather at the upper arch. First the left, then a month later the right. The rubber was just NOT tough enough to handle the stitching and cracked free so even Shoe Goo wouldn't fix them. Even tried Gorilla Tape, but no go. So they're NOT waterproof anymore. That said, because they're SO comfortable, I'm actually STILL wearing them in dry weather. But I'm very disappointed, and buyers SHOULD know mine didn't hold up at ALL.

Good boot, great price!
I wear these in the offshore oilfield and when I'm home I wear the same pair doing WMA work in the Texas hill country. These are great boots that hold up well and don't pick up gravel or stickers. The toes wont wear out in the toughest environments. Unlike other ST boots they aren't too cold in the winter and are just fine in the summer heat. For some reason the lining seems to crap out after about three years but maybe I just have narrow feet because they get a little loose after a year or so even though they fit snug when I buy them. I have never had any problems with sole separation and three years of offshore and ranch duty for $100 is a good investment in my book! Like the other fella said, you can get them at Academy for much cheaper; $89.99 for regular toe, $99.99 for ST.

SAVED MY HUSBANDS FOOT!!!!
My husband is a tow truck driver. We bought these boots for him about 4 weeks ago. He loved them, they where great for his type of work. These boots saved my husbands foot. He was on a job and they were working with an 18 wheeler tow truck. another employee began to drop the balancing legs for the truck down. unfortunately it landed on my husbands foot. we rushed him to the ER and after an xray, we where amazed to find that the only injury he had was one broken toe and alot of bruising. though the doctor said that if my husband wouldn't have been wearing these boots his foot would have been crushed , completely. The boots Saved my husbands foot. I am posting picture of what the boot looked like after it was crushed. you can see it is dis-formed and scuffed. but it took the bruit force and kept my husbands foot safe. a mush have for any one working in a field where you might have incidents like this. if i could give 100 stars i would!![...]

Not sure what the negative reviews are about
I have been wearing these boots for 12 years. I work in the concrete industry, and other boots have only ever lasted 4-6 months. These last a solid year every single time. They would last longer, but the stitching between the rubber and leather always fails in the same place at right about 1 year of use. I am hard on boots I kick mud off them on hard surfaces every day.... They are super comfortable right out of the box with no break in needed, and mine stay wet and in puddles, concrete, and sprayed with the water hose all day every day. My feet stay dry. Best boot ever. I actually stopped shopping at Academy altogether when they stopped selling them here(after fighting with their corporate office over it). That is how much I love this boot. I would never waste my money on another work boot.

leather and rubber sack of crap
These boots are not worth a sack of crap. I have worn my boots a hand full of times before the rubber separated from the leather. georgia boot has a six month warranty . That is how long you can expect these boots to last. Stay away from this boot, unless you like buying cheap boots every six months or so...

Spend the extra Dollar on these!
Buy it as an investment--no man wants to wish he bought a better boot when "it" hits the fan or when you tend to be out in the unreliable Texas weather. These boots are sturdy built yet easy to walk in. Finger-hole pull-ons allow ease of fit, which I think is easier to use than the oversized loops on some other models. Lightweight steel toe. This boot has quality stitching on durable leather over thick rubber. Don't worry about sticker brush when wearing these. The liner and removable insert adds welcome comfort summer or winter. This lining also allows for a better "wear-in fit". I'm typing this because I'm happy on this purchase and want to pass on the advice. My wife says that they're not pretty, but then again, I've never seen her out stretching fence line. Great all-purpose boot, although I found a better price at Academy.
