Fun to watch but keep your umbrella near by...
I'm not a pro so this is a great gadget to know what the indoor/outdoor temps and humidity are, which is really important. Has worked flawlessly for a year plus. Barometric readings seem accurate too. The colors are vivid and guests love to watch it. But don't plan a party around the predictions that it shows in the center screen. For some reason it cant figure out how to tie its data together to accurately guess the next weather pattern. Its usually 50% to 100% wrong but its so cool to look, at who cares. Use your phone or read the paper for the better predictions. Ive bought it as a gift too, as its pretty cheap, looks nice and gives helpful info like retaining the recent highs and lows.

Great Color Weather Center...But NOT for Northern Climates
Initially when we received this unit, I loved it. It's colorful, easy to read and the indoor unit is powered (no batteries to replace). The only reason for NOT giving 5 stars... I live in northern Michigan and our winters are very snowy and cccold. We recently had a morning where the outside temp was -23 degrees, our unit displayed "LL.L". Thinking that either the base or sending units were broken, I checked the instruction manual and discovered that "LL.L" means it's colder than -4 degrees. This weather unit will only display temperatures down to -4 degrees or up to 140 degrees! Little did I know that I purchased the Florida model Weather Center...

Awesome !!!
I love this weather device. It tells the indoor/outdoor temperatures and indoor/outdoor humidity, barometer pressure, moon phase, and an eight hour weather forecast. It also gives the hi and low temperatures and humidity, starting each day at midnight. It is very accurate on everything. It has the moon full and today is a full moon, according to my Kindle Fire and grandfather clock. Yesterday morning it was raining and the weather forecast had the sun out and sure enough, it quit raining and around 5:00 in the afternoon the sun came out. When it's forecasting for rain, the sun goes away and the clouds and rain drops light up. It also has snowflakes that will light up when it is predicting snow. It also gives you the month, date, day, and time. It has an atomic clock so the time is always accurate. It has an alarm clock with snooze and you can set alerts, such as, when the temperature and/or humidity gets to a certain hi or low. The screen is very easy to see and you can dim it or even shut the screen off if it bothers you at night. A plug comes with it and you can put 2 AA batteries (not included) in the back of it, so if there is a power outage it will stay on and you won't have to reset it. It is very easy to set up, just follow the directions step by step and you'll have it going in no time. My only drawback is it doesn't give you the time of the his and lows, but that is really no bother to me. This is my third weather device and by far the best. I would highly recommend buying this product.

May confuse during setup.
SEE UPDATE at the end!!!Installed the RF remote transmitter at the north side of the house, placed some protective shield over it (I don't trust it to be rain proof) and off we went.I like the differently colored display and the ability to see the outside temperature, without relying on some weather station in town. Most of the time, when I compare the Internet weather data with my local setup, they are usually different. This could mean that the Data source (Internet) is not exactly in my neighborhood.Setup requires a magnifier to read the instructions and simply repeats what you already figured just by looking at the screen. Therefore, I got stuck with a setting, that I overlooked at the screen. When it got below 32F over night, this thing started to beep and annoyed the living out of me. Took me several days to figure out what setting would cause this. I moved the device into a far away room, so it wouldn't wake me at night, hi, hi. There is a small Icon (looks like a snowflake) that blinks, is steady or not visible at all. That's where I got hung up!It is not easy to understand the instruction manual (a sheet of paper, printed in 6 Point font size, to save another tree, but must buy a magnifier, preferably from the same seller) unless you are familiar with the chinese language. It turns out that the setup buttons have in some case, multiple functions or you have to press them repeatedly to get it setup the way you want it.I was ready to get a bigger hammer, to make the necessary adjustments, hi, hi.After some time spent with it, I got it finally set to not beep when the Humidity, Barometric pressure or Temperature is falling below a predefined value, thank goodness! Now, I love this thing, all I want to know on one display and in color (not 4K of course).UPDATE:Had to change my rating to 2 stars! At first I didn't notice that the barometric pressure seems to be stuck. As I compared it to an Internet weather site, come to find out that the pressure was far as off as possible. Thought, a reset would do, nada! I never see much more than 26, although the internet site shows 30.The moon phase is also not correct, I could live with that.I am not sure about the humidity readings, since they deviate quite a bit from other stations in the neighborhood. The temperature seems to be accurate enough, although, I don't know about the outside sensor.

I love it
Works great. I love it. Accurate temperature and humidity. The absolute barometer reading is way off, but the swings are accurate so the trend is correct and the forecast works pretty well.Notes:- The display is too bright for bedside use, even on the dim setting. This is only a problem when using AC power, as on batteries the display is only on when the button is pushed. I used a film called "LightDims Original Strength" and it's fine.-- The forecast feature takes a week or so to settle down. After that, it's as reliable as any other device of this kind.- The unit blacks out when syncing the time with the atomic clock broadcasts. This happens once or a few times a day. Don't freak out. It will come back in a few minutes.

Only goes down to -4 degrees
The screen is easy to read from a distance. It seems accurate. The main things that I don't like is that it only goes to -4 degrees. Where I live it gets way colder than that.

Easy to set up and works well
Easy to set up and works well. Does not handle temps below -10 F. Small issue for most of the country but was a small issue in N. WI.
