Great toothpaste
I believe this is an excellent product. It is sensitive and whitening, antiplaque, and remineralizing. It is fluoride free. No animal testing. No artificial flavoring, colors, or preservatives. It is proudly made in the U.S.I also like the metal tube that comes with it to roll up roll the toothpaste tube up as it is used. This is a very healthy toothpaste, and I have started buying it for my family members as well.

Excellent tooth paste
I love this tooth paste. It cleans and brightens my teeth so much better than any regular toothpaste. My teeth feel so smooth and the mint flavor is good not strong. After I brush my breath is fresh and my teeth stay cleaner longer less plaque build up. This is the only paste I use this now to brush my teeth. The paste is smooth and not gritty and it does not burn your mouth like regular toothpaste. My teeth and gums feel great and my smile is whiter. This is my favorite paste I use it 3 times a day.

Great toothpaste
I really enjoy this toothpaste. The taste is good and it is not too sweet. Gives a good, clean feeling. No fluoride is a good thing for me. The only thing that knocks a star off is the lack of a tube roller. Luckily we have one from a previously purchased tube.

Saved my wisdom tooth
I have TMD, a narrow mouth and all my wisdom teeth. I was told that as long as I can reach my teeth and brush them that there was no reason to remove them, and as I want to avoid any unnecessary procedures, I brush every night and floss daily. As a kid I was much less diligent about it and ended up needing fillings, and due to my teeth being so close together, flossing is very much a requirement for me. But again, I want to keep my teeth so I make dental care a priority. At my last dental appointment, I had to get some fillings redone, as I had developed TMD and clenched my teeth in my sleep so much I broke them. And at my last cleaning, they said it all looked good. I remember the hygenist scraping one of my wisdom teeth and her tool catching, but no one said anything, I figured they would've seen something on the X-ray, so I put it out of my mind. I brushed and flossed every day, so of course there was nothing to worry about!WRONGThis past October, I was running my tongue around my teeth just to make sure I had everything nice and clean, when my tongue brushed up on something on the same wisdom tooth the hygenist's tool caught on. I began to panic, because duh! I brush and floss dangit!! And I pried my mouth open as much as I could and looked in the mirror and saw an unmistakable sight: the edge of an unsightly grey crevice.A cavity.A very large cavity, in fact. I used a flosser to help gauge the damage and that sucker was HUGE. How did the dentist, the hygenist and I miss it for so long? This had been developing for at least a year, and obviously longer if the hygenist's tool was catching on it.I sat in horror and analyzed the situation. How could this have happened? Then I remembered I have TMD, and it was often difficult for me to open my mouth wide enough and get a toothbrush back there, so I likely got a little lazy. So what now? Was I going to have to concede and get one of my teeth of wisdom removed? Not with my stubborn self!So I did some furious researching and came across this toothpaste at the end of the research rainbow. It had a fancy ingredient that research told me would help remineralize teeth. And current research states as long as the cavity is in the first layer, it's possible to remineralize your teeth. I figured that since I wasn't crying in agony, there was a chance it wasn't too deep, but I had to make the decision NOW or I would have no other option than to lose a tooth I spent so long growing. My personal tooth! I also have never had a dentist that didn't grumble working on my teeth because of how narrow my mouth is, so I had no faith in finding one who would help me keep it. I didn't have the energy to beg and plead with them.So I bought this in the orange flavor, because mint gives me headaches, and decided to force myself every day to brush back there. It cannot be understated how huge this cavity was, so I figured it might take like six months to a year to remineralize, if such a thing was possible for me at this point. But I was determined! I had to try!I bought this toothpaste October 27th.It is now mid-January, and my tooth is almost all better. The only changes I made were not chewing food on that side, and using this toothpaste. I'm not against flouride by any means, and have seen smaller cavities remineralize with flouride as well, but for what it's worth, this did save my tooth from removal. The flavor is excellent. It reminds me of those Flintstone orange push pops from my childhood. More toothpaste needs to come in this flavor. For it fixing my tooth, I'd say it's a great pricepoint. I used more toothpaste than I usually do in my paranoid pursuit (I was always told just a pea sized amount is necessary) and probably have a month's worth left. At least. I'm not sure how to gauge it.No sensitivity. Does not foam much. I'm only mentioning these two points because Amazon seems to think it's important, but as I haven't bought traditional minty toothpaste from the big brand in years, I don't really know how to compare it. And again, not knocking any of the main brands, and you know which ones. I just can't stand mint. Why not enjoy brushing with watermelon or strawberry flavored toothpaste? Or in this case, orange dreamsicle? I'm a fully grown woman and will forever brush with tasty flavors. I'm actually excited to brush my teeth with candy fruity flavors. Try it sometime. This also came with a key. I saw some other reviews mention not getting one, but mine did.All in all, I could cry happy tears. Just a few months ago I was trying to imagine a hefty dental bill and how to afford it. I was planning a trip to Turkey and calculating how much money to save. I was trying to mentally prepare for losing my tooth, despite how hard I tried to take care of them. I was trying to make peace with the pain I was going to experience having my tooth removed, and the healing process and all that fun stuff. I felt like a failure. But a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. My tooth is 90% healed, and I'm confident as long I keep it up, the cavity will be gone entirely and become a distant horrible memory that I will recall on occasion and shudder about as it flashes into my mind during future brushings.Take care of your teeth and they will take care of you. Brush and floss every day. I will 100% recommend this toothpaste to anyone and everyone as it's effectiveness is undeniable. I had a crater in my tooth that rivaled the surface of the moon, and now it's almost gone. It works. It's that simple. It's effective and delicious. What more could you ask for in a toothpaste?

The Greatest Toothpaste Ever
I love David's toothpaste. I have been using David's sensitive & whitening toothpaste with nano hydroxyapatite for over a year now. I've had the best visits to the dentist since I started using it. I love that the toothpaste doesn't have fluoride. It doesn't mask tooth sensitivity like most grocery store brands. It fixes it by filling the microscopic holes in your teeth. Your teeth feel super clean after using it. The natural peppermint flavor is wonderful.

High Tech Tooth Care Paste
I am testing various high-tech, enamel rebuild, type of toothpastes after reading and researching benefits of Nano Hydroxyapatite I am on a path to find if it really helps build enamel. So David Hydroxy is one I prefer over the previous purchase of another brand. I really like the minty taste and that it leaves a fresh breath. The smell is not super strong and is a pleasant mint. However I noticed that it is a bit runny and thin. Nevertheless, the toothpaste leaves the teeth smooth and does not bother my gums or is too harsh. This is a very smooth paste but I cannot say that has improved my teeth surface…YET….but teeth are whiter. My reasoning to try this type of paste is for teeth maintenance and prevention. I actually also appreciate the retro tube because is not plastic. The size in addition is perfect for travel as it is not too big or too small. The price is a bit high, but lower than some other competitor brands. My husband is using it as well and he likes it too. I suggest this to people who want to restore their teeth brightness, especially if you are older 40 and up, this could help rebuild the enamel that wears out as we get older.
