My yard doesn't have high trees to hang LED lights so I got 4 of these to go on either side of my patio. I'd recommend two per light string b/c the weight caused the pole to come out of the ground after a rain storm. The second one, which I put in the middle to make a swoop look, was perfect and lessened the weight of the string between the first pole and what was drilled into the siding.

This is exactly what you expect and easy to put together. Comes in many sections that easily screw together. Sturdy once up and 11feet tall, perfect to hold strong lights high. Comes with 2 hooks in either side to secure cords. Best for the price!

With a little wind, poles got bent. The bottom assembly has poor workmen ship where welded portions come apart. After I struggle to disassemble and send it all back via UPS, the seller all of sudden claims that they did not receive it back. A refund was issued when UPS had the tracking number and after a month, they are acting as it was never sent. I do not appreciate the tactic to rip off customers who return the product due to poor quality. DO NOT BUY!7/31/2023 update: After the received the product back, they charged 3 x 38.99 back stating that they never received them back. I called Amazon and they acknowledged that returned was processed via UPS.Now I see that same product is advertised 50% off at Amazon but it is not worth even a $1.

For starters they are cute and I think they add a little style rather than having wood posts. However! They are not designed for all soil types. I live in AZ and the bottom ended up hitting a rock and bending. I also could not put them in all the way because of how hard the soil is here. I was using a mallet to pound them in and the little legs would move up even after tightening them to where i had to remove the top one in order to attach the rest of the pole or they broke off. Also it is true to its weight, they do start to bend if the lights are too heavy so trying to figure that out is difficult (figuring out how far apart each pole should be based on the type of lights you plan on using). If you don't have a ladder to hang the lights up after you put up the poles you're going to get annoyed. If you have to put the lights on first and then attach the rest of the pole, the lights are going to twist around the pole once you start to tighten it.

The poles are better than I really expected.They aren’t the most sturdy poles but they are still standing! Maybe leaning a bit but not too bad. I’m happy with my purchase.They were super easy to install.

Love that it is adjustable

Easy to install prior to adding lights… HOWEVER… the lights didn’t even have that much tension and the poles kept bowing and arching. I had to keep adjusting and tightening to compensate for the arch in the stakes. It was a total pain in the butt. I finally just anchored the lights to my cement back up wall and ripped out the stakes. Which I had never bought them.

These light poles are well made and an excellent addition to our patio area. Now we can string lights around our patio and enjoy the evening.
