My daily commute!
The media could not be loaded. This bike is such a pleasure to ride! I've had the Schwinn Marshall for almost 3 months and I absolutely love it! I previously used my PUBLIC C7 bike to commute back and forth to work, but this Schwinn just makes the commute so much lovelier with the ability to go easy and fast on days when I just don't want to put a lot of energy into getting home. The pedal assist is great when I've had a long, tiring day! I live in the mountains where even "flat" roads feel like an incline or decline. The bike handles steep inclines really well.I use this bike at least 5 days a week and only have to charge it once or twice. I've ridden home from late night concerts with ease--I love that the bike comes equipped with a front headlight and a light across the bar that helps illuminate the ground underneath--such a great feature for navigating through the darkness. The bike handles really well in rain (been caught in some downpours this summer!) and also does well on bumpy, dirt roads. The bike feels very stable riding in both scenarios. If I could add one suggestion for the bike, I'd suggest adding a splash guard on the rear tire--I've gotten pretty messy from those rainy, dirt road rides. The Schwinn Marshall is a really good looking, sturdy bike. I get lots of compliments. I opted to have the bike assembled at my local bike shop. The guys at the shop said it was such an easy bike to put together and the quality of the bike rivals those almost double the price. They were really impressed. The bike is a tad heavy, but I'm able to lift it easily onto my Yakima bike rack. I'm 5'4", bought the S/M and I have the bike at the lowest seat setting. I tried to add a rear rack, but due to the gears on the back and the height of the seat, the bike shop was unable to add any that they had in stock because it would have raised the seat too high for my height. Will reach out to Schwinn to see if they have an option. After 3 months of riding, the bike has better response when stopping and taking quick turns. I have had no issues with the bike. I find myself enjoying the bike more and more with each use. It is such a fun and solid ride.

Love it so far
Arrived on time and double boxed. Assembly was straight forward, put a wheel on, put the handlebar on and so on. Assembly instructions are vague but the manual is detailed. Took an hour to put it together, you’ll need a Philips head screwdriver that’s not in the included tool kit and a tire pump as the wheels don’t include air. Had to detangle the chain from the derailleur and cassette, but it shifts smoothly enough with no adjustments. I’ve taken it out for several rides at this point and can say a few things. -the seat is as uncomfortable as any stock bicycle seat. -Battery life is adequate. A 90ish minute 20ish mile ride with a mix of pedal assist and full throttle all electric seems to run the battery down about 80%. -not as difficult to pedal with no assist as expected and could be ridden/pedaled with no juice. -only 7 gears but with the 5 levels of pedal assist, hills flatten. -this thing is quiet and very fun.

Great Well Made Product
I've had several eBikes; most of the Chinese variety as they appears to be decent for the money. The problem I had was that the "computer" died after three years and the bike shop I bought it from said there were no replacement parts. Schwinn has good support as they've been around for over 100 years. The bike came partially assembled but the assembly instructions were fairly easy to understand.Less than an hour of assembly and I was off and running. The control screen give more data including speed, total distance and battery life. The best part is the five level of "boost" so you can control the amount of needed assistance for hill climbing, etc. Most have only three levels but the Schwinn has five levels so this is an added plus. I could dial in the exact amount of assistance.Overall it is a well designed bike that appears to be sturdy and will have future support.

Overall Good
So, I've had this for a few months.Pros:1. Lightweight2. Can handle blue bike trails3. Fast when neededCons:1. Not easy to assemble2. Gears change constantly without manual switching3. Throttle broke4. Reputable bike shops won't work on Schwinn bikesOverall, I love my bike, my only true complaint is my throttle stopped working and it was hard to find someone to diagnose.
