Shakespeare5239 Galaxy World Band Cellular/Wi-Fi Antenna

There is nothing wrong with this antenna, but that is all it is. In order to use it you need a receiver of some type. The description does not include this information. I'd like to return this and buy later with the full kit. We are not ready to install on our sailboat. I am outside of my return window and didn't realize I needed other parts until after the return window closed. Amazon gives me no option for asking for an exception of the distributor that I can find.

I use this antenna on my sailboat. It's mounted on my helm, only about 10' off the water. We did a range test on it today and it held a useable signal for 25+ miles offshore near Hatteras in the Atlantic Ocean. It's holding up to direct sun exposure, it's been outside for a year now and shows only very mild material breakdown. It should last a long time. Well done, Shakespeare!

Much better signal strength

Removed a Shakespeare HD TV saucer and replaced with this cellular antenna. Real nice quality product. Ran a new Proxicast LMR-240 cable with N male connection on the antenna side to SMA male connector using a TS9 connector into the Nighthawk MR1100 cellular hot spot. Every situation is different but I am getting anywhere between 100 -180 Meg constantly on Lake Lanier Ga. Love this setup for streaming live sports on Hulu and Netflix shows with the little lady. 😊

Antenna looks to be of high quality. Installation instructions are non existent, no cable provided, no tips related to complexity and extra equipment required to make it working, not for novice . Returned
