Charge for long time and read instructions
Bought as a present. Note, £5 import tax to pay in UK. Good feel but wouldn't turn on out of the box. Comes with usb charger so charged it overnight. Turned it on in the morning. It made a sound for 2 seconds, then it turned off. Suspected either product or non standard size rechargeable battery is faulty.Contacted seller who was very responsive. Continued to charge it and re-read instructions which are a few bullet points on one side of A4.Thought I might need to return to get a replacement, as my son really liked the quality and feel. However after a good charge and trading the instructions it's a great piece of kit... just checked with him now and he said, it's perfect! In summary, charge for 24hrs and read the instructions, they are complicated, as all controlled through one button, but once you've got the hang of it is a great product.

Really fun to spin
The media could not be loaded. Very fun to spin and use. Well balanced. I was delighted to see all the colors and sound effects. Though it is a little bit heavy, i am enjoying learning to spin it.

The definitive Review...by a real person and not sponsored. Make it 3.5/5 stars
Update:- Okay, so duelling with the second light sabor is actually a lot og fun, especially iun the dark. Again the sound is a bit hit and miss and the collision detection on my second one isnot performing great but we still have a lot of fun. We didnt go in too hard with the sabres but with some control they seemed to take the punishment alright. I would give these 3.5 out of 5. Good, best yet but needs some refinement. So i bought this for my son and in order for him to have someone to dual with, i bought one having deemed it of suitable qualilty to give a but of dualling a go. I can't comment on how it holds up to dualling because i dont have me one yet, so i'll update in due course. The handle is nice and rugged but in my opinion should have had a push in plug of some description to protecting the charging pin. The sabre is nice and bright and the responsiveness to collisions and movement of the light sabre is okay. It not brilliant though and does suffer from timing issues, but its definitely not terrible. The flashes on contact i'll update in due course but its effective enough. At night the sabre is bright enough to illuminate a drak room which is pretty cool in fairness. Youy have options to turn the sound to low, high or mute. The speaker quality is pretty low so the sounds definitely arent amazing but again they are not terrible I think for over £100 it should probably be a bit better. My biggest grip by far is how the sabre attaches to the hilt. You get two teeny grub screws(a screw without a head) which is turned by a tiny Allan Key. You get just two teeny ones in order to attach the entire blade and not all the way around either. You get no idea of how tight is too tight although you dont want the blade to move around when you are swinging it so there is a tendency to over tighten. I might have cracked mine already and that was being careful but i just turned the blade around to another point so hopefully its okay but i dont understand why the base isnt reinforced more. Its certainly a means of attachment that is under-thought and one of my bigger concerns about the longevity of this device. 2 days in at least its in once piece and like i said, looks okay and sounds okay. For any kids (or big kids) the first impressions are good although it will take swirling it in a darkened environment before you fully appreciate it. Actually i just browsed to see if you can get replacement blades and seems you can - though i dont know how good they are - but thats at least a good thing. Anyway, these are pretty decent and whilst definitely over priced they are so far more or less meeting expectations. Will update in due course on how they survive a dual

My teenage son absolutely LOVES this! I was a bit sceptical about the price but I have to say it delivers! Great variety of sounds, fantastic light and rechargeable. Impressive! He actually wants to purchase another and I have no problems with that. Great quality. Love from a mum UK xx
