Great value for the money with different knives and the study wood block.What I really impressed was how well the knives gripped in my hands - the plastic handles were fine built and not slip at all.The chef’s knife as well as the carving knife was also perfect weighted, providing a comfortable chopping and cutting on meat, hard vegetables, and fruits.The blades were stamped with decent hammer pattern, they are thin and sharp to cut foods like butter.I had bought a few Paudin knives before, and I will say that they are definitely a great value. They provide 1 year warranty. I highly recommend this set and other knives.

I have bought a couple of different sets of knives in the past, usually I have found them struggle with maintaining their edge, or just generally aren't very good quality. This is definitely not the case with this set of knives! I have only had these a few days, but I absolutely love them. Aside of their beautiful looks, they are very solid and build like a diamond. While I was preparing some meals for the week, the chef's knife makes short work of a whole, thick boneless skinless chicken breast, I was able to cube it up in no time; slicing steaks off of a boneless ribeye was just as easy as a chore.The wood block is sturdy and enhances the attractiveness of the set. This beautiful set of knives are very giftable for its value too. I highly recommend this product as house warming gift!

I’m 95% positive there are only really 10 knife sets circulating in the US. All dull and useless. Passed from one hapless consumer to another. Could the knives at least be sharpened before being sent to yet another hopeful yutz just trying to cut baby carrots into slivers for their young? Why is the whole knife life so perplexing. I know I must be missing something, in addition to a sharp edge.

They could not cut through an Apple. Returning them today.

Sharp , packaged well, sturdy, not cheap very good for the Mid kitchen cook.

Wow! New knives for me! I have been using the same knives for years and after seeing these I decided to give them a try. Very impressed with the weight and how nice they feel. They are also gorgeous! Did I mention how sharp they are? The set comes in a very nice wood block that keeps the blades safely stored. Do not hesitate to order knives from Paudin! Giving them 5 stars!!
