Good Witch: The Complete Series

This is a great series! I had minor issues with a couple of discs that were resolved immediately. This was just an FYI situation, however, I was refunded my entire purchased price which totally surprised me cause I never requested a refund. You don’t see something like this every day guys!!! I will purchase from this company anytime. They stand by their products and most of all, their customers!!!

If you ever want/need a pick me up from all the crap going on in life, this his the show for you. It always leaves me in good spirits. The background music is mesmerizing. I've looked high and low to find the soundtrack but I don't believe it exists. You won't be disappointed if you purchase the Good Witch. My husband watches it with me. We wished we lived in the town of "Middleton" from Good Witch. I think we figured out that Middleton is actually north of Chicago or maybe Wisconsin. You just have to watch it to see what effect is has on you. The characters' personalities are both colorful and endearing. The story plots are unique and keep my interest. I've seen the entire series multiple times and have even purchased the movies.

Oh, how I love this series. After chasing whichever streaming service was carrying it over the last couple of years, I just decided to buy it. Now I can watch it whenever I wish. Got a great price too!

I had watched the 7 movies of the Good Witch and didn't think a TV series would as good. It was just as good.

The Good Witch series box set arrived before the estimated delivery date and in excellent condition. I really loved watching the series, all of the main cast of characters were great. Loved Sam and Cassie, Martha and Abigail. Sad to see the series discontinued. Unfortunately, I found the final season, season 7 not as entertaining to watch as the first 6 seasons.

This deserves 5 stars except for what happened in the final two seasons. From what I read online the writing staff experienced a lot of turnover, which meant that the secondary characters’ story arcs were constantly in flux. And it seemed like Hallmark was reigning in the budget, so they kicked a bunch of those characters to the curb. Another thing that bugged me was the relationship arc for Stephanie. I thought she belonged with Ben, but they didn’t want to make him a regular cast member, so they lamely wrote him off at the start of a new season (4 or 5?). Because her ending up with Adam?!?!? That guy is the definition of Milquetoast. And him winning her heart, then suddenly deciding that he just had to go on a mission trip… And then he meets another woman on the mission trip… Please, who writes this junk? If you ask me, the only reason that he was written into the series was to try and placate the “un-placateable” religious right that was ready to storm the castle over an innocent show called Good Witch… C’mon, get a grip people. When they pivoted from the movie format to a TV series they dropped the “The” from the title, which should have unruffled the feathers. And in all honesty I never noticed any real spell casting until the final few episodes, so people just need to slow their roll. I mean, they made a point of showing numerous church steeples every time they did a flyover establishing shot… Though I think that the thing that bugged me the most was the closure of the Abigail & Donovan storyline. After all that multi-episode drama of trying to break a 200 year old curse, when success was finally there and they were ready to get married… Don’t worry, I won’t spoil it for you, because the producers and writers already ruined it. That after all the effort they made to break a curse, because they loved each other that much, they suddenly realize at “1 minute to midnight” that neither one of them was truly ready to give up their solo dreams to be together… That is just about the most… I can’t say it, because Amazon doesn’t allow that kind of language. Just know that the producers chose to slap the fans in the face. Maybe Hallmark was a poor choice from the beginning, when they did the half dozen or so movies based on the The Good Witch books, which I haven’t read. But if they’re worried about upsetting a certain demographic of fans, then there are any number of subjects that they should just avoid. And this is especially evident with the number of Hallmark movie actors who jumped ship for the ostensible reason that they wanted to make more faith-based films, which just means that Hallmark was becoming too left-leaning… Oh, and just a nitpick, but Mayor Martha really grated on my ears. But I suppose that was the whole point, to make her so endearing that you ignored her bit of self-aggrandizement just like the characters in the show. But at least she was toned down from her portrayal in the movies, where she was the nosy do-gooder who knew what was best for the town no matter what logic or common sense might suggest. Now I do fault Hallmark for the inconsistent formatting of the DVDs in the complete series boxed set. For whatever reason Good Witch viewed the Halloween episodes as their season highlights, and in fact I don’t recall a single Christmas episode. But these Halloween specials tended to be 2-hour episodes. And rather than have them tucked into chronological order with all the other episodes of a given season, they typically have them by themselves on the last disc of a season. So that means that you’re watching the “catch up” of what happened previously and you’re left scratching your head that you didn’t remember any of that… Skip the gimmick Hallmark and just record the episodes in chronological order on the DVDs.

I have to say I had slept on this series by Hallmark. Finally gave a watch , what a gem the series turned out to be . Gives you the warmth,love and coziness in a series . Bought the series for my mom,she absolutely loved the characters and the series.

Was soll ich sagen? Wer Magie, gepaart mit es liegt Liebe in der Luft liebt, sollte kein Problem haben sich in diese Serie zu verlieben. Wenn man etwas abschalten vom Lebeb braucht und an das Gute glauben möchte, dann sollte man sie anschauen, vor allem im Herbst, ein Muss.
