Great Brush
Bought this 4" square brush for my 4" square chimney. Bought a poly one last year, and wasn't really impressed. This bad boy is the ticket. It's a manual use brush ( no drill hook up) and a breeze. Had chimney clean in under 30 minutes. Purchased 18' of rods to go with it. Everything appears and feels well made and expect many years of use.

Made good and solid.
This brand lasts much longer than other ones. Does a good job of cleaning my chimney.

Does the job.
Been using this several years and still working good. Some of the bristles are starting to loosen but still works well.

Worked very well!
The Rutland 7 inch square brush worked perfect! I have a 6 7/8 inch square chimney and this brush fit just right. I had a light build up of creosote but after 2 passes up and down the chimney we were good to go.

Recommended but doesn't fit standard drain rods.
Worked a treat, I have a 7.5 inch square chimney liner and didn't want to risk an 8 inch square brush so went for the 7 inch square and it did a great job. Had previously swept it, weeks before, with a standard 12 inch round plastic chimney brush and this wire one cleaned a lot more out. The only problem was the fixing, it won't fit on a standard set of drain rods so I simply screwed it into the hollow plastic end of the drain rod, the one with the female thread, of course it wasn't a proper fit and the metal threads didn't match up, but I then drilled through both the brass end of the drain rod and the threaded end of this chimney brush with a 3mm drill and put a nail through it, bending the nail so it couldn't come out. This did the job and I will now keep that one drain rod attached and screw the others to it when I need to sweep the chimney.
