San Francisco Soap CompanyCognac and Vanilla Scented Bar Soap

Originally got this San Francisco Soap Company Dark Rum and Spice Scented Bar Soap at a local retail store and fell in love with it. When I went back to get more, they no longer carried it in the store. I was bummed! Amazon to the rescue. This soap has a nice, mild pleasant scent, unlike most current men's soaps which smell like tree bark, grass and freshly fertilized dirt. Nope, not for me. This stuff is great and lathers up nice and rich. The bar itself is huge, so you need big man hands to hold onto it in the shower. Will continue to buy and use this soap as long as it is available.

I bought this after using a liquid pump version at a friend's house that smelled amazing. I was extremely let down after using it, and can only say that the bar version more closely resembles the scent of nothing.

I recently tried the Dark Rum and Spice Man Soap from Sanfrisco Soap Company. The soap has a unique and appealing scent that stands out when you first use it. Unfortunately, the fragrance doesn’t last as long as I’d like it to. On the upside, the soap left my skin feeling great—smooth and refreshed.Considering the short-lived scent and the competition in the market, the price point of $9.99 feels a bit high. There are other soaps available that offer a more enduring fragrance. A price adjustment to around $4.99 would make this soap a more attractive purchase.Overall, it’s a good product with room for improvement in scent longevity and pricing.

Smells great and smooth on the skin. I’m definitely going to tri the other scents.
