Great set and quality paint
Great selection of colours and good quality paints. The set includes a mixing palette, brushes and spatula. The gouache paint is very versatile and can be applied thick or water down for a more sheer coverage. It mixes well and many different effects can be created. The paints come presented in little plastic pots which are really sweet. The only the problem is storing them in between uses as the case is not air tight and needs to be kept up right.Perfect set for beginners - would recommend!

Extremely happy with these gouche paints.
The media could not be loaded. So happy with this Gouche set of paints by HIMI.24 colours all of a thick creamy consistency, if they are too thick just mix a little water with the paint on the palette that comes with the set.Gouche give a mat emulsion type finish but if that is not what you want you can always use a glossy varnish instead of matt over the top. These are quality paints, suitable for beginners or professional artists, beautiful bright colours and they are quick drying. You can choose from 3 or 4 different coloured boxes and to clean the box, just give a wipe with a damp cloth. In the box you get 24 paints, a palette, three different sized and shaped brushes and a knife to paint with.I am a semi professional artist and I love this set, everything goes in one box and it's easy to carry around. The only extra thing you would have to hold is a water container and of course a surface. The thing I like about these paints is that every time you have a painting session you can put the paints into a semi horizontal position in the box (it only takes a minute)and you can see each of the colours. The lids are meant to be sealed after every use so they won't dry up.Thank you for reading my review, I hope it helps you.

Brilliant beginners set
I am not a painter. I should say that first and foremost. But I do like crafts, and I do like to try my hand at different things. Maybe one day I will be a painter, but as it stands my knowledge and skills are very basic. I am a beginner of beginners. I'd seen people setting up these palettes on social media and I was intrigued. I love the jelly look to the paints, so I decided to try them out. This really is a lovely set. It's a lot heavier than I imagined, so not something you'd want to be carrying around with you, but lovely all the same. It comes in this lovely coloured box, which has a clip-down lid to keep the paints as moist as possible. When you open the box you have a removable paint palate, so you can mix your own colours. You also get three paint brushes, and a small palette knife, so baring something to paint on you pretty much get everything you need as a beginner. What's not to like about this set? The colours are well balanced between basic colours, colours that I'm familiar with, but also some more fun colours, giving you a range to play with. And that's before you've even mixed your own using the palette and the knife. In terms of performance, I've used watercolours and acrylic in the past, and these are a blend of the two. You use them like watercolour, but there come across on the page as acrylic. I can tell I'm going to have a lot of fun playing around with the palate and who knows, maybe by the end of it I'll have painted something half decent.

An excellent range of gouache paints 🎨👨🎨🖼
If you’ve never used gouache paints before, it’s worth considering their plus points, and understanding why they’re becoming more and more popular. Unlike water colour painting, with gouache you can work from light to dark, or from dark to light because the paint is opaque. Another advantage of using gouache is that you can paint on a variety of different coloured paper. You’ll find that this type of paint dries quickly with a near matt finish. Keep in mind that the dark colours tend to lighten as they dry, and the light colours go slightly darker. I do like that you can ‘re-activate’ gouache paint (on the paper itself, or on your palette) by simply adding a smidgen of water.I believe this paint set offers very good value indeed. You get a nice variety of colours (24) which are in practical jelly cup containers that are securely held in place within a useful carry case. Also included are three decent nylon brushes, a palette, and a palette knife. It’s worth noting that the same seller does offers the option of a larger 50x colour package. I think complete beginners, or skilled artists would be impressed with this gouache paint set. Highly recommended. 👍

Great Set of Good Quality Rich Gouache Paints
I love painting with Gouache Paint – its all about the rich texture 😊 This set includes 24 lovely deep colours in small well sealed pots. The colour clearly labelled on the top and the pots are clear so you can see the exact colour when lifting it out.The storage container is nice, it is strong and sturdy and neatly divided into 25 sections – a space for each pot of paint as well as a longer slot for the included brushes (which are good quality brushes and nice to paint with – 1 round and two flat tips as well as a knife and palette. The lid is removed and fully lifted off and seals well. What I love about painting with Gouache paint is the texture and layering on canvas (also, if you make a mistake you can easily hide it by adding just more paint - and making it look like it was meant to look that way ;)The paint in this set is smooth and thick and the colours are rich and luxurious - perfect for layering and texture and dries quickly. My daughter and I are having fun painting a Disney collage on canvas and really like painting with this Gouache Paint.

Brushstrokes
Two dozen colours and three brushes in a green, or pink, or orange, or blue carry case. What more could the budding artist want?

A winner
This was a gift for my niece and she loved it! I know she used it right away so I’ll see the art soon. I loved that it came with a pallet and some brushes.

Great starter set...
Bought this Pink set because it was $5 off. This is a great starter Gouache Paint Set. It does comes with pallete knife, paint pallete to mix your paint and very cheap starter brushes. The paints are brights and I'd recommend that you swatch-out all of the colors on the paper that you use to paint on. That way you have a color reference of your color set. The swatch info, a sticker located on the bottom of the container is really tiny and hard to read. This is a lot of paint and the snap on lid is a big plus. Highly recommended for a starter set...

I love this gouache
Himi is my favorite brand of jelly gouache. It's just so good for student grade gouache. Opaque, bright and such beautiful colors. It dries well, rewets well and lasts so long in the case. I do open it every few months to mist it, if I haven't used it. Works well thick but can also be watered down a ton as well. Always fun to use this gouache, and I love the included brushes. It also lasts so long, I'm sure by the time I fill up my art book, I'll have barely put a dent into the paints.

This is a LOT of Gouache
I love watercolors, and I use gouache for when I want to add bold pops of color to my paintings, that you just cannot get with watercolor alone. That being said, this is a huge amount of gouache paint… it is a really good variety of color, and using a bit and mixing it with water goes a long long way… I have some professional gouaches, which I don't want to waste doing very large backgrounds, but this set has ample amounts of paint and a really good assortment of colors, that I feel I can just go nuts, and not worry how much I need to use. Generally you will need two coats if you want a bold flat wash of color, but it is great for practice pieces, and even for finishing nice pieces with a nice bold background. One recommendation I have… I have noticed that it has begun to show signs of drying out after only a few uses opening the case… and I don’t leave it open while I paint either… I choose my color, open it and grab a scoop for my palette, and close it again… so I’ve started spritzing all the colors with water before I put it away, and it stays nice and moist for the next time.
