Moon USA National Parks: The Complete Guide to All 63 Parks (Travel Guide)

I used the USA National Parks Moon guide to stomp through my 63rd park last weekend, and like earlier editions of this guidebook by this writer, I had more than enough info and inspiration to cut through the park how I wanted to. Lomax has a knack for packing info concisely into her writing which is really useful in planning and without leaving me feeling overwhelmed. This is without a doubt one of my go-to national park guide books!

A great general guide book of all the National Parks. The author provides detailed maps and even stickers that you can apply once you've conquered a Park! Sights, Where to Stay (including general pricing), Scenic Drives, Recreation, Getting there and Around, and some history of each Park. The guide even provides what to do if you've only got One Day in the Park along with her Top 3 Highlights for each Park. The photos are great and simply add to your reading pleasure. This book will not give you everything if you are looking for a lot of in-depth detail on all the hiking trails or backcountry trips, etc. in a particular Park, but it will give you a great overview and some detail on each. Pack your bags and hit the road with this all-encompassing guide!

I am starting to read this book and finding that this is so well written and easy to read and follow. The pictures are beautiful and this author has many books like this. She has spent so much time and energy to complete yet another book of parks. This will be yet another treasure to have in your library of places to go. Thank you to this talented author for her insight in her hiking and knowledge to share with all. Thank you Becky for your love of beauty.

This book covers it all. The pictures are gorgeous, it's maps detailed, the descriptions and recommendations of where to camp or lodge are thorough. Becky Lomax has given us wandering outdoor enthusiasts a reason to get out there and explore. This book would make a great gift for any outdoor enthusiast or even the arm chair adventurer who dreams of visiting all 63 National Parks. I am planning to wear my copy of the book out and I can't wait.

This is a very organized travel guide to our USA National Parks. In each National Park, Becky has a map, the top 3 sights to see and if there is hiking, the best hike to take. There are great photos throughout this guide.I highly recommend this book.SB

The layout is awesome. Pictures are enticing, text easy to follow. I used the book to figure out where I want to go in the future. It was fun looking at parks I’d been to, also. It painted a clear picture of what I’d experienced, so I realized it would be helpful in exploring places I’ve yet to visit.

I have hiked and camped with the author over the years as she researched and gathered information for her books. I know of no other person who works harder to get the best product together for you. She has a passion for the product and you are the winner.
