Silicon edge trim is very usable strong and supple for easy installation and good protection. I tested a piece with a utility knife and it takes some small effort to slice through it.

Update: The seller immediately messaged me to assist in getting the correct product. I'm awaiting delivery of that now but I wanted to let others know of this company's excellent customer service. I've updated to 4 stars and will correct to 5 if the forthcoming product works as advertised. As described, fast shipping. However... I'm trying to safeguard a glass cabinet that has touching glass doors from the inevitable disaster that is broken shard of glass all over my floor. The trim did fit, but immediately started the peel off after I about 3 feet down the door. To settle the debate, the trim is actually cloudy translucent color, not quite white and not quite clear/transparent... no a problem for me. It has been returned. If it had actually stayed on the door I probably would've kept it. It didn't even stay on long enough to finish installation on one 5.5 foot high door.

This isn’t good if you are using it for your viper cut on your Toyota 4Runner. The bumper is thinner than the 1/16” rubber. It will not stay on. I tried using a torch to try and mold the rubber, but it eventually falls off. The product itself is fine. Just not good for what I was intending to use it for.

Although this product appears to be functional and would be acceptable in quality and color. The big problem is that the edge protection does not stay in place on its own (applied it to the car door) and within hours the product came off. To secure it in place there needs to be some form of adhesive to secure it in place. Likewise, some adhesives are not compatible with the material which I found out later. As such, I’ve returned the product for a complete refund. Best of luck if you purchase this product.

Adds a good look to paneling and the mirrors, overcut the corners then trim to get a great edge.

I originally purchased this channeling to provide a border edging on my utv’s windshield However, once it arrived and was unboxed, I was instantly mesmerized by the spiraling pattern of the channel inside its clear plastic inner pack. I am now faced with the dilemma of practicality vs art! I suspect the solution is to order another one for its intended purpose and reserve this one to hang on the wall in my bathroom opposite the throne, as a spiraling incentive piece of art! Awesome !

I used this edging for a piece of hardware cloth to cover my engine when the car is parked, because a squirrel had been getting in and eating cones on top of the engine. Didn't want wire mesh to snag anything nor cut my hands taking it out, so I got this edging and chose silicone as the most heat tolerant material. I was able to attach strips of this U trim to all sides of the rectangular piece without any need for adhesive, just using a snip of wire at the corner ends bent back to pinch into place. It fits snugly and so far doesn't need any other attachment. The material is quite strong and thick but malleable enough for the sharp edges to also provide some grip. So I am quite satisfied with the product quality and has worked perfectly for this application.

We renovated our pontoon, used this edge for the side panels. Worked really well!!

Its hard to put on straight. Glue strip sticks to matl permanently and instantly. Edges aren't smooth. Lots of small cracks. Very soft. Too soft to ccushion an edge against a head bang
