Silverback Deluxe Breakaway Rim with Nylon Net Compatible NXT and Goaliath GoTek In-Ground and Wall-Mounted Basketball Hoops

Had a Texas wind storm and needed to get the rim replaced. This was perfect and my husband installed on his own in one afternoon.Simple!

This is a great upgrade from the standard Rim

The universal bolt mount pattern worked for mounting this replacement rim on a Silverback SB-54 In-Ground basketball hoop system. Highly recommend this one since other rims don't work for this particular Silverback model. Thank you!

BALLS THIS WAS A GOOD HOOP. THE BOLT PATTERNS ARE SUS BUT YOU CAN WELD IT AND IT WORKS. I CAN HANG AND IT WONT BEND AND IT IS SUPER THICCCC

First off, this product is mis-advertised as being compatible with the NXT 54 portable. It's not - plain and simple. See attached photos, the rim does not line up with the cutouts in either the backboard nor the backboard box. Maybe you could grind out the difference as another reviewer mentioned he did, but I'm not doing that.Secondly - and this is inconsequential given the fact that it doesn't fit at all - but I bought this at a slight discount as open box but in "Very Good" condition which is defined as "Looks and functions as if it were new. Item may not come in original packaging." The product I received was nowhere near the appearance of "new" - it had sticky residue all over it, scuffs, scratches, ... had clearly been installed and played on before being returned. Clearly, there was either no inspection done or an incompetent person performed it.You disappointed my kid and wasted our time. How can I give this order/experience anything other than a 1? I'm rating the purchase, not the product, which is 5 star. Will update the review if I hear from Escalade Sports / Goalrilla. Do better!
