This book. Teaches about love and family, all wrapped up in people who understand and protect their land and heritage.I want more!

It's a great story, buy so many mistakes in this book! Spelling errors, missing words and punctuation! And, for instance, in the previous book, Quinn was 12 when her parents died, she is 16 in this book with a reference about her parents drowning 10 years ago!! Doesn't jive!!

This is a love story, about love of home, love between sisters, and romantic love. I enjoyed every minute. A good escape from today's crazy world.

As an old mid-westerner, I love the vivid descriptions in this book. The complex characters who love their special place on earth inspire me to get back to Lake Michigan. I lived a half mile from the lake. The nature which surrounded us in the woodsy, beach area was filled with other flora and fauna which I loved every day. I loved the beautiful descriptions written by an extremely observant author. They stoked my imagination and felt I knew exactly what the characters were able to see and it made me thankful there are people like Rumor, Zeb, Sixtus,and those wonderful kids and neighbors.The Safe Harbor series is very enjoyable read. I am grateful to Luanne Rice.

Luann Rice is one of my favorite authors so I expected to love this book!! This is a page-turner from the first page and I finished it in one day! It is a story of Hubbard's Point where people have lived and died for generations by the sea. The homes are humble cottages with overgrown yards perfect for rabbits, squirrels and other kinds of wildlife. Rumer and Elizabeth were sisters who loved each other, but one betrayed the other and cost her twenty years with the love of her life. It is heart wrenching to see how one shallow sister manipulated her sister's lover, broke her heart, and how it affected the whole family!!

This book was by far my favorite in this series. The pages flew by and I just could not put it down.

Another attention getter. I thought only D.S. could bold my attention but Luanne Rice has also gained my attention.Another good story put onto paper with pen. Thank you.

Kind and comforting story as always with this writer.

This book was beautiful; from beginning to end. I love Rumer. She's so neat. Also, her bond with Zeb, of course. Quinn is wonderful, too, and probably my favorite character. Hubbard's Point sounds like a lovely place that I can picture in my mind. I'm happy with how things ended in this book, although I won't give any spoilers. Luanne Rice is certainly a talented author, and a favorite of mine.
