Q: Picture shows two brushes and i only received one brush. did i misunderstand the picture? nothing in the description says one or two.

Only one brush comes with the purchase. One shows what the brush looks like when you wind it up to use. The other is with lid.

Q: Would this work for lip balm/gloss? I hate touching lip balm with my fingers but I don't want to be wasteful with the disposable applicators.

I actually just ordered a second one of these so I could use one for lipstick touch ups and another for my glosses and lip balms! The brush works great on all lip products, in my opinion, but it does take longer to clean after you use it with a balm. Hope this helps!

Q: Whats the difference between the gradient lip brush and the single top brush? The photos for both are exactly the same.
