I wouldn't recommend it if you have a tan cat but it is so soft and absorbing water, it does. Love it

This bathmat is so soft. When you step out of the shower it feels good and is very absorbent. I can just throw it in the washing machine when needed.

Very soft and safe to use near shower, grip well even on wet floor. That said, I want to warn anyone considering purchasing these mats that every piece of lint etc. will gravitate to the surface and are not easily swept off. I need to hand pick junk off daily to keep it clean.

I always check given measurements on amazon items, but even so, this rug seemed small. I kept it, because it is otherwise excellent, and it’s my bad if I didn’t verify size. Just make sure you know how small it is. It’s just barely big enough for stepping out of the shower.
