Amazon Basics Interlocking Foam Floor Mat Tiles for Home Gym Exercise, 24.7 x 24.7 x .5 Inches, Black - Pack of 6

I have a 2 car garage that me and my mother converted into a sewing room, and she was getting very tired all the time for standing and moving for long periods of time so we needed to add some cushion on the floor and this works great, it took me 2 hours to install it and i bought a total of 10 boxes, I didn't cover the whole floor but just about 80% so i would say if you want to cover the whole garage just buy 13 boxes. The big tables you see to the sides and the big one at the end do not have the mat underneath because i didn't think it was necessary but if you want to do it it will hold just fine, I have 6 sewing machines and as you can imagine they are very heavy, I put them on top of the mat and seems to hold perfectly fine, i have mannequins and roll racks and i can move them around easy and the mat does not lift, I also wet the floor and used the mop and it cleans very nice, i used a nice wax to make it look extra black and clean because i do fittings with wedding dresses in this floor and does not stain or anything, the only thing is for some uneven spots on my floor i taped all the edges together to create a piece and it also looks nice. overall i think is money well spend, the temperature would be a bit high but is fine, i love it and i would recommend.

The quality of these mats are medium, excellent for the cost, the foam is not very dense, but that creates a lightweight easily portable set. We use these next to our exercise bike for doing bootcamp style workouts and the mats are perfect for protecting our hardwood floors from damage caused by the weights while providing us some extra padding when we lay our yoga mat out. The mats come with edge pieces so it all snaps together pretty cleanly, although the seams aren't perfect. A tip: Do not leave your weights stored on the mat. We left one 20lb kettlebell on the mat in one spot for about 5 days and it seems to have left a permanent, albeit shallow, indentation. It hasn't affected the functionality but with a heavier weight, especially left for a longer time, you may be left with a deep lasting dent.

Like so many others, I've had to turn to home workouts during the age of corona, and luckily, I have a large space in my garage that I was able to convert into a home gym (of sorts). But, working out on the concrete floor wasn't an option. A yoga mat is fine for some activities, but I like to do cardio workouts that have me jumping and sprawling (bring on the burpees!) over a bigger area. So I found these mats, which looked just right. I ordered 2 sets (6 squares each), giving myself a 6' x 8' area. The mats are mostly fine, and definitely a good deal for what they cost. They were super easy to assemble. The only issue I've had is that they tend to come apart on areas where I'm doing a lot of movement. When I say "come apart," I mean they'd disconnect slightly, leaving an inch or so gap. Not a huge deal, but kind of annoying. I finally ended up flipping them over and duct taping the seams on the bottom, which seem to have done the trick.

This product for its intended purpose is great. I put the mats under my treadmill to block noise. My pesky neighbors below said carpet wasn’t good enough. I only want to say that my cat gnawed on the mat and it did not digest. I had to put her down today. The mat itself is not/not toxic, it’s just not digestible , or at least wasn’t for my cat. If your pet eats this foam, go directly to a vet. If you wait, the signs of immediate care needed will be vomiting, lethargy, lack of hunger/thirst, and no bowel movements all presenting within 48 hours of injection. My cat had severe allergies that were not responding to treatment so I elected not to put her through the stress of surgery and prolong an already uncomfortable quality of life. As well, her chewing mat was related to her allergy/compulsion to lick for relief. If not the mat, could have been something else. That said, if you have an otherwise healthy animal, a good vet can do X-ray, see where block is and do exploratory surgery to remove. Again, the product is great, got my neighbors off my back, it was just a terribly unfortunate thing the cat went after the tiles. I have had these for years now, I think it's been 5-7 years. I have moved places with these and use them for my home gym. I actually have both the blue and black pattern to not make it so dull. For years I have been impressed, they hold up considerably well with no issues. They connect together and stay in place. I have made the mistake and dropped 45lb plates from about 8-10 inches without the tile underneath breaking, of course please do not test that...lol There is no odor from years of use, they clean up well, they are only about half in thick if I recall, but definitely serve their purpose. For a sample size, I have a 12x10 room and my grid on the floor is 4 foam pads by 6, so 24 foam tiles pad in place. I could get an additional 6 to cover the entire floor, but right now, at least for me, it is not necessary.

I ordered a set of these for the garage gym. The floors are concrete and get really dirty out there so I wanted something to be able to get on the floor and exercise if I needed too. These work perfect! They’re honestly super comfy too. I ordered one pack initially which was definitely big enough to exercise on if you wanted to lay a mat down on it. We decided we wanted to cover more area though, so we ordered 2 more packs for 3 total. They were super (I’m talking super) slightly different in color, that the initial pack. Doesn’t bother me but could bother some people. Anyways, I really recommend them. Sometimes I just lay on the floor after a workout cause it’s pretty cushioned. Not quite sure how to clean them yet though. One downside is they get kinda pretty dusty and dirty out in the garage so I’ll have to look into it. Maybe a swiffer? Would purchase again!

First I ordered 2 sets just to try as read some reviews about the odor, stickiness etc., the product is very good and I did not find any issues with it, the density of the product is not that good but okay for the price they sell so I ordered 5 more sets to cover the whole area near my home cinema screen to remove screen reflection while watching movies in the dark and can be used as the gym mat. Delivery took three days, packing was good, yes you can go with the product and thanks Amazon for this. I will update my review after using this.

Las utilizamos para unas dinámicas en la empresa, como correr, saltar, hacer lagartijas, hacer carretilla, carreras en rodillas... Etc. Nos funcionaron bastante bien! El grosor era como de 1cm, y amortiguaba los golpes o el dolor en las muñecas o rodillas al apoyarse sobre ellas. Se ven de buena calidad y más económicas que otras marcas! Super recomendable, como todo lo que he adquirido de Amazon Basics

I was skeptical at buying these due to some reviews. However, I'm glad I did as they're a great price and good quality. They're much better than the Canadian Tire ones. I'm in the process of making a home gym, and these are a perfect fit without breaking the bank. I needed something that's good for Muay Thai training and circuits / weights. Also, my son can use this space too, so something that's protective as well. This product fit all of the above so I went ahead and bought 4 boxes to start... and if I liked it, I would order more. The attached picture is the end result of 10 boxes... and I'm really happy with it so far. It is a bit slippery, but it'll be fine with bare feet or shoes. Pros: Price Protective value Doesn't stink Doesn't slip (on concrete) or dislodge. Easy to cut Cons A bit slippery Not rubber flooring... but $65 cheaper per box May not be good for slamming weights on... or super heavy weights... Would buy these again ... Edit - these are good enough and do the job if you have bumper plates. Don't slam your stuff like you're at the gym...but it seems to be good enough. I wouldn't slam stuff down on this with metal plate weights though. EDIT - over a year later and these are holding up to the workouts my wife and I do and the abuse my son and dog puts these through. There's some scratch marks in some areas, but not one of these has ripped or warped badly. The only warping is where we've kept our rack and weights, which is normal. I've added a new picture... we are going to get a few more packages to expand our flooring and space!

Used for covering up a very ugly, dust attracting, floor in my workshop. Considering the floor was uneven, made up of second hand bricks and pavers, the flooring covered it reasonably well, softer to walk in, cleaner and the jigsaw attachment worked well. Would use again.
